Did you even read the article? The average middle class American saves less and has more debt than gays. |

I understand that the average hetero spends money on women and children, schools, health insurance and many other things that a gay man doesn't have to deal with. But is that your only point, that their finances are in better order? |

Paying for insurance for a family of 5 or 6, is not like for one. Paying scholl student loans for self, plus school fees, books, supplies, etc of 3 or 4 children, while the gay may have none, is not the same. Buying clothes for a family is not the same as for one. Buying groceries for a family is not the same as for one. And most gays don't have children, and many share expenses with another gay. |

Zecharia how many family of 5 do you know? Thats not average American. Also a family has benefits when it comes to taxes and insurance. Your job can insure your spouse. Your car insurance can be bundled with your spouse You cant bundle insurance with your partner.... |

You say gays share expenses thats why they have more saved and less debt. So does your family of 5...do the parents not share expenses? |

I know a whold lot of families of five and more. I didn't even mention transportation, spending money, allowances, entertaiment, nights out to dinner, etc etc. Supporting a family is not the same as for one. Just pointing out some reasons why it's easier to care for one, and retain one's income if you only need worry about one. |
