Kenny,

You've stated before that you live in a 'white neighborhood', as tho, that's a plus.

Why does it matter that your neighborhood is white, why not, I live in a good area?
My neighborhood is majority white so I guess you can consider it a white neighborhood. My fellow blacks who live there, along with my Asian, latin, and indian neighbors don't consider it a white neighborhood, nor have I ever called it a white neighborhood on this forum.

To answer your question it doesn't matter that my neighborhood is white. I found a house I liked in a good school district with low crime. It happened to be in a neighborhood that was majority white. Whiteness had no bearing on my choice to buy a house and live there
I remember you stating that you live in a white neighborhood, that's why I mentioned it.

Nevertheless, we agree. Seek a neighborhood that reflects what you need/want.

Safety (low crime) was one of our prime reasons for moving to our area.
...shhh...

He doesn't need Any of us coming alone helping him to inadvertently expose, himself, with respect to his livelihood of esteeming where Whitefolks live and aspiring to the same residential districts.

If you knew this before you moved there, as in, it motivated your desire once you sought out such a neighborhood and found your white picket-fenced Leave It To Beaver America...then whether you admit it here or not;

that is called living your life, being worried about Whitefolk's and what they embody or what they think or what they aspire to. So, face this my friend.

I know I know, the truth hurts when you really forced to come to grips with the gory veracity of why you wake, daily, to aspire to climb upward in a White world...while lying to yourself about your life's exemplifying of any Black Pride

Many people, regardless of their color, are fearful.

Many people fear success...because they fear failure more than success.

Many people have to fail before they can succeed.

People go through a few failures, then throw in the towel.

Some people get a taste of success, suffer a setback or two, then wallow in self-pity.

Some people are so self-defeating, they will put more energy crying about why they had no chance at winning than they ever did in trying to win in the first place.

Those same losers will also put more energy into being victims, or wanting to lash out at others for being successful instead of making themselves better.

The truth is that such self-defeating people are only motivated by manifesting the concept of the self-fulfilling prophecy.
Sam,

One of the main reasons most don't even try, is because of the confusion regarding the word 'success'.

Success, to most, is viewed as being rich? owning a large home? nice car?

vs

feeding your family, paying off a mortage, clothing your children, graduating college, etc..

I own, repeat OWN, a nice home, as a result of hard work. I wanted to be the example for my future generations, not some actor, rapper, or ghetto millionaire.
Depends....

Success to me is having control of my life. That's something alot of people don't have....

Marcus and UTB for example. Apparently they complain so much about a group of people....it must detour their life in some way.

I don't have the worries of "i hope my car doesn't break down, that would hurt my finances"

I don't have the worry of "omg, what if I lose my job?"

Once you have control of your life everything else comes. And yup a nice car and house are part of it if you worked your ass off to get it.

Remember...I lived in an apartment with a computer desk, computer bed and a sofa. If I watched tv it was on my computer..

I didnt give a shit about material things but my car. All that Black Friday shit I didn't do...I didnt go splurge at the mall. I had the money too but I wanted to do that when I has more than enough

Cray,

We are in unison, however our mindset is in the minority. We have a community of the poor robbing the poor, ghetto millionaires, high school dropouts, that complain about how the 'outside community' treats them.

Right, I focus on our children cause ultimately that's what's going to keep us trucking. Only other option is to wait and let ignorance and culture die out.

This is why I like to tutor and help kids. Because once a teacher labels them....

Ok, ok,

I know the both of you can handle your own business, but UThant, I must ask, are your issues with Kenny?

I don't always see 'eye2eye' with everything he says, but on this subject, wasting time thinking of what whites are going, is just that, a waste of time.

However Kenny, consider this, UThant says that as blacks, we must start to demand the same treatment of our federal govn, as others.(If mistaken, please correct)

Consider this, Hispanics/Asians want the govn. to give them a path to legalization, amnesty for the older immigrants, and our goverment hears their cry. So, shouldn't blacks have an agenda also?

Thats where change will come from, the children, our next generation. Now, can some adults change, sure, but do they want too?

We need to let our children know, there are many paths they can travel, but understand some come with a lot of reprecussions and consequences!

Yes, I agree 100%. But my point was, kenny & Sam are EXACTLY worried about what White people think and what they do and what they aspire to...and they esteem it in their everyday lives, like most all Americans.

And although sam won't answer my question so I can post his examples... I displayed a few of kenny's various mindsets validating the claim. Plus you helped prove it, too, when you caused him to bring up his aspirations to buy a Home in White districts and neighborhoods.
