Now that the president race is over, what is happening in the municipalities, counties, and townships. Are any of your local politicians coming up with any laws that you like? Are any of the laws conducive for blacks? Will your local property taxes due to your home has lost value since the blowout? How is your local board of education dealing with with less tax money? Have traffic tickets fines increased due to the lack of revenue? How about street and road paving projects? Did you just elect a new Congressman, or Senator? These are everyday thing that I wonder do people get concerned about! Here in Fulton County/Atlanta, they're trying to go joint venture in order to build the Falcons a new place, partly financed by the taxpayers and the state at a cost of ONE BILLION PLUS! Since I don't watch either basketball or football, I say if the Falcons want a new place, let them build it, but NOT using taxpayer's money! |

First of all do black people even have an agenda. Your questions can't be answered unless black people have an agenda, and agenda is a to do list. So when it comes to politics do black people have a to do list, and have they presented that to do list to the people that they voted for. |

As much as I'm against the gay lifestyle at least they have a to do list, and one by one Barack Obama is checking off everything on their list. |

The "agenda" should be keeping an eye on the politics going on within your community. Why complain about the conditions of a school, when most Blacks don't give a damn, except when one of thir children gets expelled? Why bitterly complain about the state of the streets and roads, when you don't have a clue as to call? Why complain when a "social program" is suddenly cut out because of lack of funding? Why complain that the fire dept was slow in coming, when a house catches fire? Most of the people on this board, was gung ho about Obama, but don't have a clue as to who is representing their interests right where they live! http://citycouncil.atlantaga.gov/Public.HTM Should a Negro be in "charge"? http://www.ajc.com/news/news/local/many-fed-up-with-fulton-elections-problems/nSzrb/ http://www.ajc.com/news/news/state-regional-govt-politics/gop-within-reach-of-supermajority-at-georgia-legis/nSzjp/ A nightmare for "MAL" the foreign Negro! http://www.ajc.com/news/news/runoffs-needed-for-two-clayton-school-board-seats/nSzcf/ Clayton County, an example of what happens after Negroes take over! http://www.tnr.com/blog/110352/no-southern-comfort-wishful-liberals No Southern Comfort For Wishful Liberals As you can plainly see, politics are going on as usual, and the elections are over and done with. I'm wondering just how many on this board are involved, or plan on getting involved BEFORE, the next Presidential election. |

Not that difficult......I've been saying for yrs now that the issues, of the black community, originate within the geographical locations where we reside and that's where the issues need to be addressed. Issues with the LE agency's , City, State govt that's who we should be holding accountable for social/economic issues gone awry. People get the idea that if you elect so and so to Congress your issues will go away. NOT SO.....the issues are still there because it's not the responsibility of Congress to govern what happens in a state etc unless that state is blatantly ignoring Fed laws also. It isn't a matter of having an agenda it's a matter of coming together and addressing what we already know needs to be addressed. We don't need a laundry list. Just go take care of it. |
