I don't like socialism. People don't just wake up one morning and they are rich. A lot rich people work 16 plus hours a day and they might have done that for 30 years before they got rich. So it would be totally unfair to take what they've earned through hard work and give it away to somebody that's sitting around watching television all day.
Socialism is what we have to varying degrees in all countries with a good standard of living. In fact it is the way humanity was able to survive. Each of us sharing some aspect of civilization. Defending ourselves, feeding ourselves, housing etc. That is not to say entrepreneurism should be discouraged. To the contrary.

However, someone had to put the roads down we use, install the water and sewer systems we take for granted, allow for electrical systems, provide for emergency protection etc.
In France they just passed a law that say that rich people have to pay 75% in taxes. They are going to take most of rich people money away and give it to somebody else, that's crazy and that's socialism at it's worst.
What difference does it make if only 10% of his real income is taxable? You don't really think that the rich would depart with 75% of their actual money do you? Tell me you're not that naive.

The goal of socialism isn't to make everyone rich. The ultimate goal of socialism, something that will not happen until the world decides to listen to me, go on a massive World War, and kill off about 75% of the population, is to make it so everyone has what they need without an actual monetary scale. No one would be rich or poor. They would just be.

However, there's too many damn people and too much damn greed over monetary gains for true socialism to exist. And while Obama and the Dems may have some rules that seem socialist in nature they are in no way, shape, or form about to usher in true socialism.

And while we're on your utterly insane and so damn simple it's R-Tarded view of what socialism actual is, the Republicans sponsor and seem A-OK with a multitude of socialist programs including Welfare, Medicare, and our current road system. And they definitely aren't about to abolish taxes because then how would they be able to skim off the damn top?
The Bible said that the poor will always be with you, so it doesn't sound like the Bible is into socialism.
The bible also says that it's harder for a rich man to enter heaven than it is for a camel to stick it's head up your ass but I see you conveniently ignored that shit.

That's not socialism at all so there's no way it could be "at it's worst". That's called redistribution and if you would have read my post on socialism and then actually read a damn book about it you wouldn't be making this mistake.

I'm sure that 75% is the top marginal rate, it's not 75% over the entire income.
