... CBC ... remained silent for four years

You're dead wrong on this, however.

I have links too, if you need proof that the CBC has been busy approaching Obama...and it got a rude awakening for it too, since Dec'09. Here's a small example:

As an AA male who happens to be republican also I highly respect both brother West and Smiley. I think they both have positive things that can be implemented if they actually sat down with the Republican Party and laid out their platform and came to some mutual agreement things
You're actually correct here, and I like the idea. Since the Dems have abandoned and spit on, Darkskinned Black Americans, then it would probably ignite the GOP'ers to see Blacks taking notice and then vacating the Dem Party...

Considering the Independent & Libertarian parties are both, decades away, from being viable and impacting then;

...hmmmmm...
Thanks for your response. Considering what Black folks have said thus far we aren’t any closer to the (goal) whatever each individual defines as such as long as the dems are pimping for vote’s and doing nothing why not give the pubs who are despised by 95% of us a chance to do what the dems haven’t done since 1964 on. I mean if you are going to be honest about things Blacks who identify themselves as democrats have to give their party a big old fat F grade when it comes to moving AA along!
I think both brothers could get more things done if they sat down with the other side and showed the eggs in one basket isn’t cutting it anymore. Democrats take the average Black voter for granted period.

Question, where/what do you want to move along that requires the govt to intervene?

I’m sorry I’m not buying any of that simply because they know the facts better than you and I statically. Bush was unmercifully attacked daily by press conferences by the CBC and NEVER have I witnessed the CBC on the steps of the capitol like they did against bush daily calling out Obama and his failed policies towards AA specifically but they wanted a white man to do what a black man said he want do! This is sheer stupidity not to make the president just as accountable as you wanted bush and one messily press conference doesn’t do it for me.

Here me clearly NO political party can supply ALL my needs and wishes only God can do that through my hard work on my own. I’M personally not looking for the government to do one thing for me because I want be suckered into and you owe me vote. Now for the brother and sisters who aren’t me willing to pull themselves up and over they need help. Infer structure nationwide is in dire need to be updated or replaced millions of jobs spin off from such and government endeavor, this current president lied and said he jobs from day one and had shovel ready jobs, now I say he wasn’t called to task for pimping black folks for a vote period and not spending time on those jobs as he did for healthcare! There are other things the government can do such as bringing back “youth corps” have a nationwide government funded program like the late Rev. Sullivan had in Philly. I could go on but what’s the use Obama got exactly what he wanted the black vote to do absolutely nothing for black folks again! And the unwillingness to sit down with pubs shall surely continue to hold us back period! Not playing both sides of the street is our detriment politically.
