I just don't get what republicans or any one who is disapointed in Obama gage their bases on?

And that sums it up.

The economy sucks folks. It's not racism killing obama. When Clinton said it's the economy stupid, it is. Despite the talking points coming out of team obama that everything is coming up roses, most people aren't seeing it.
.

This. You're not asleep.

Hmm B-)

Would you advocate returning to a gold standard?

I do agree that a lot of our and quite frankly western european issues go back to that period around 1973. But I don't see it as a gold standard issue as much as a focus on economic priorities.
.

This. Appreciate the question (no, btw). Curious as to what you believe the priorities should probably be. ^_^

One can always structure polls or surveys to suit a desired outcome. For example, I mentioned yesterday that I was polled on several occasions about the race for pres. None included 3rd party candidates. It may not bear any resemblence to reality and that is why I take these with a grain of salt. At best, I look at the trends in polls, not the numbers per se.
.

This. Common sense.

See? A lot of stuff actually... I seldom see the comments though, and seldom have time to respond. I'm nearly always on a mobile device.

Well folks, as I've stated often there is no limit to money being produced. It doesn't come from China or the rich or whatever nonsense they want people to believe. They gotta convince the masses of that while the wealthy and powerful take advantage of monetary operations and the ignorance of the masses.

Oh and this. May be my fav. No, definitely my fav.

Ah, monetary operations.
Well, domestic political as well, and yes, domestic & foreign economic and monetary policies..... I just love talking about that stuff. And it's nice to see someone on the same page, with similar views. Though "we" don't discuss it. I see your perspective and I know much of it mirrors mine.

I think a good place to start for a lot of people is where does the dollar come from.

True. Otherwise, they won't understand that it's now going to "infinity & beyond" and what the true 'cost' of that will be. It's unfathomable really. G'night.
