It took over 30 years but I finally really like Get Off now. They killed this song 1978, '79. The clubs radio, parties, everywhere.
One memory I always have though is my senior year in high school. This girl named brenda knew how to work it when they played that song at a party. This dance called the freak came out and it was like she owned the song and the dance.

Danger and excitement
that's what makes a lady
Find out what she wants in a man
so get off... :D

By the way, the background, chorus, ooha, ooha, etc was done by 3 sistas who were uncredited.

CHA among the classic disco groups. This one was probably their first big disco hit. They played this one for years at the discos.
Nice.

Yeah yeah, not exactly disco (unless you're euro) but for me Karyn fits in every category.
I fantasized about many secret rendezvous.

Hey, in europe it would still be disco. Besides this can't be in a more appropriate thread.
If this is heaven, god please forgive me and let me in. What beautiful women

Well I heard last week that Rod Temperton died. They mentioned his work producing major hits in the '80s for artist like Micheal Jackson. They overlooked his work however in Heatwave. He was a member of the group that gave us Boogie Nights, Groove Line, and that wedding staple, Always and Forever.

Always associate this with a H.S. graduation party
