... Depending on who you ask and point of view...
True, true indeed and I emphatically agree.

That's why I was so focused on ensuring I included words from the guy who actually created it/produced that song's beat.

...just as equal too, regarding Disco's Era, since I've never heard any people say disco era went beyond '79-'80

Well, as a man who lived it, '79/'80 is way too early. In the northeast, Boston to NYC, disco clubs were still going strong till about 1981.

True, I would say the same for DET ...as they were still pumping strong/using a good plethora of hits from '75-'79

From 1981, one of my all-time favorites and highly regarded disco songs, Your Love. This youtube version is also from one of my favorite movies, Summer Lovers.

And one more from '81. Next up will be '82. I will escort y'all deeper down this disco rabbit hole to show you how long the music prevailed in the states. :D

Anyway, here's Teena Marie's classic disco hit from '81, Square Biz. I had a lotta fun with this one in the discos. ;)

Square Biz was funk & rap, in America's ghettos, as I hope the ghost of funksteer Rick James won't be offended by you deeming his Square Biz beat, disco lol oh and still...nice track!

No...silly wabbit. As if you would have any clue about Rick James or disco for that matter.
In fact Rick James performed at Studio 54. Yah, he's rolling in his grave alright.
No doubt Ricks music was core funk but he had tracks infused disco. Love Gun and You and I come to mind.

Back to Square Biz. Just cause Teena did 30 seconds of rap (I don't even think the word rap was used in '81) doesn't make it a rap.
Just enjoy the music and avoid sounding silly.
