This song Souvenirs from the french group Voyage was voted internationally as the best disco song. I really can't argue with that. It's in my top 10 and was a popular club song.

Psa, did you do that, I don't know what to call it, the Disco Bop?

I wish I did. It's euro style disco. B-)

In the youtube link, you'll see the sista who is the lead singer for the group.

Well from what I gather from european associates, it never really left there.

As for here, as long as there are commercials, hip hoppers and rappers who sample the music, and people like me, disco will never die :D

Ok, this song may be a stretch for disco in the US. By the mid 80s disco became a dirty word.

Clubs didn't want disco in their names, preferring dance however. In britain and the rest of europe however they never really left it and fully embraced the music. I'm always greatful to the brits in particular for keeping so much good music alive.

Anyway, love this song and it was a hot club song circa 1988.

By the way men, y'all should check out the youtube on this one ;)

I can't believe there are 29 pages of this.

Lol.
If some of my disco lovin' amigos were here, it would have been quadrupled by now. Some are more in tune with disco from europe, latin america, and africa.
This is really adorable.

I know I am cracking jokes.

But I am glad you enjoy the music.

Hey so do you and your disco lovin friends have like disco parties.

Oh and I cant believe there are 31 pages of this.

31 pages and only just begun :D

There was a disco meetup party a few years back. I couldn't attend however. It was in NYC and I didn't have the time to fly out. The disco loving community is international.

By the way, I know you're having fun with this :D

I'll have find a song for you.
