Here is the very talented but under recognized Dr Buzzard's Original Savannah Band, featuring the wonderful vocal style of Cory Daye. Cherchez La Femme

I luv this song...... *Gasp*

I've been blind, but now I see.

I think I luv Disco.
I knew you were a woman of refinement and impeccable taste. You'd have been a natural in the discos :D

If some of my disco lovin' amigos were here, it would have been quadrupled by now. Some are more in tune with disco from europe, latin america, and africa.

Mandolay from 1979. I remember this latina girl dancing to this one as if this song was written about her. She captured every beat in her moves. I remember being mesmerized by just watching her move :D

Ok, this song may be a stretch for disco in the US. By the mid 80s disco became a dirty word.

Clubs didn't want disco in their names, preferring dance however. In britain and the rest of europe however they never really left it and fully embraced the music. I'm always greatful to the brits in particular for keeping so much good music alive.

Anyway, love this song and it was a hot club song circa 1988.

This song Souvenirs from the french group Voyage was voted internationally as the best disco song. I really can't argue with that. It's in my top 10 and was a popular club song.

Here's another favorite. What the heck, I just like 'em all :D

Here's Risky Changes. If you listen carefully you'll hear, well guess. He did vocals for this group, Bionic Boogie.
