That youtube link showed a 7 minute version for I'm your boogie man and my version is around 4 minutes. I almost started hunting for that longer version but it seems the 7 minutes was just a mistake, whew. I thought I missed something :)

Even a former country artist/dj got involved in disco with again another big hit and among the many I love.

I think I don't understand what is considered Disco. KC & the Sunshine Band's music? I thought it was just Pop, and that Disco had that beat that went in forever.

I think I had a turn-table just like that. :)

I remember this song. "I want some action!"

The definition is fluid and the fan sites will have members that will have definitions all over the map. The hard core techies who examine the rythym and beat like to say stuff like 4/4, 4 beats per measure. However Donna Summer was all over the map, some euro stuff didn't follow that rule as well as some american.

All I can say is those of us in the clubs knew it when we heard it. Bottom line is as long as it was danceable and came out during 1976 to around 1982, it was most often called disco.
