No, men are quite complex and deep.
They just show it, deliver it, express it, and emote it differently than women do.
They are NOT women, so therefore we can't expect them to think, feel, act as we do.
And..........in my own most humble opinion...... I believe that most men do not share their deep complex sides with just anyone... which is why I've heard men say their wives/girlfriends/woman is their best friend. They only trust certain people to show their true selves to. They won't be transparent with just ANYONE... it has to be someone very special in their lives.......
So if the man is only sharing that deep complex side to ONE or maybe a couple of people..... then everyone else may think they are simple. Because they're not privy to the more aspects of the individual.
Men are complex, they just only show it to a certain few..... who they trust to open themselves up to.
As always, I'm no expert on male behavior and this is all my own opinion.
In my opinion, pretty much dead on point Sari. There are only two people in my life I can say with unequivocal certainty that I trust. One of them knows things about me that me that absoolutely NO ONE else knows and will NEVER know. I think that human beings are generally complicated. As a man, I'm not going to share things about myself with just anyone. Not even close some close friends and some family members. LOL! I have a healthy sense of paranoia. Notice I said "HEALTHY" not neurotic . Among my colleagues I'm considered very professional, analytical, and unconventionally passionate about my work, somewhat of a prankster and engagingly altruistic. However, I'm much different around my "dawgs" "peeps" friends", my daughter, and my lady. To my daughter I am Dad and most trusted advisor. She has me wrapped around her finger (Daddy's girl , but not spoiled) However, she knows that the decisons and choices must be hers. To My lady...well.. Gentlemen should never kiss and tell. Respect and privacy when it comes to intimacy. Those things should be kept very private. Is that complicated? Maybe. I have been told that I can fit in just about any environment comfortably. Sometimes out of necessity. For instance, I cannot be the same person when I'm in certain parts of Atlanta. That shocks the hell out of some people who have only seen the professional side of Veritas. Not violent or aggressive. Just very, very streetwise. Yet, I can be in high level meetings with Presidents, Vice Presidents and CFOs of some of the most prominent companies in the wolrd and be right at home. Complicated? Maybe I keep my cyberworld and my REAL world rigidly separated. I like to go out, dance, Love Jazz and Raggae clubs. Yet, When I'm around my daughter I can "pop" with the best of them. I have no problem doing any of the latest dances. My peeps from Chi have taught me to "Step" with the best of them. I suppose it depends on the situation and the people I'm around as to whether I'm considered simple or complicated. Sometimes I'm both and Sometimes I'm neither. A hybrid of sorts. SUA not sure if I hit your point or not. Gave it that old college try! If you notice, I rarely, if ever, respond to these types of threads, but it's good to relent from time to time. Plus my Falcons are winning big and I'm in a very good mood! Interesting thread! Def agree with you guys, Sari & V.

Men are like an iceberg. 90% is under the surface. Very complex.
Yep. 100% simple. 110% in fact. They like us to believe that, yes.

They like us to believe that, yes. Nope.
They want us to believe the opposite.
Because it holds our attention span on them.

What you talkin bout Willis? I mean, what's funny, D? Ciss is funny. I was also thinking about the time a chick got drunk with me and friends and she got her ass whooped by her boyfriend so bad, that she had an orgasm.

OMG, Damien.... I swear, I wonder... where do you find these types of women? LOL She's not even a friend of ours. When my friend doesn't lock the gate, she pops up and starts doing and saying dumb shit. She even told her dad that she was mad at him for fucking her sister and not her. She tried suck her dad's dick in front of us, and he almost killed in her.
That's one of the reasons why I don't drink with chicks that have daddy issues.

I don't think so. But the ones who don't think so are the ones who give too much attention.
