You're not hallucinating POASSA, the discrimination is real. We are still wreaking the havoc brought about from racism and colonialism on a global scale. IMHO, the best we can do is show love for ourselves and minimize within our personal spheres the negative external factors. |

Colorism will always be around. A person cannot help the color he was born with. I think that many darker hues Blacks have an inferiority complex based on their color. A multi-racial person, is just that, multi-racial. When I look at AG Gaston, I see a dark skinned Black man, yet he became the richest Negro in Alabama!  When I look at the picture of Mary McLeod Bethune, I see a dark skinned Black woman that started a college.  When I look at the picture of Dr. Benjamin Mays, I see a dark skinned Black man.  All listed above did something with their lives, beside whine and whimper about their skin pigmentation! OBTW, most "House Negroes" happened to be dark skinned. Damn man, be happy with who you are, and stop whining about colorism! Someone in the past must have did a hell of a job on you concerning your color, because you have been bringing this up since the days of Rob Redding's board! You got issues bro. |
