Nigga, if drunk talk is true talk then why are you hanging out With that person? Unless they are drunk 24/7
I found it entertaining that she thought someone cared about her enough in order to get me jumped.

Yup that answers the questions......
Cray, sometimes I need to be entertained.

Besides, when you really get to know me, I joke around a lot making fun of stuff I'm not supposed to find funny. I can't have that following me at work. :D

I went on a business trip with our whole management team. It was a nationwide meeting, great opportunity to put faces to voices I had worked with via the phone.

My group, but not me, went out and got crazy drunk. I can't say the specifics because I wasn't there. But a few were late to our session the next morning, and I heard stuff from the people who did manage to arrive on time. Unfortunately, I was somehow tagged as "not a team player" since I didn't go out drinking with them. That designation got back to my boss who called me into his office. I explained that they were simply upset that I made a good impression on the big boss at the meetings because I was busy networking with team members from our other locations, and on time for the meetings.

After that, I started just going for show, drink water or tea, laugh at a few jokes, then leave. Other than that, not interested.
You see?

That's how misery in need of company works.

They figure that whoever isn't joining in is looking down on whoever is. :D

It makes them feel uncomfortable because they know they ain't shit and busy worried about being seen for what they are. :D

So should a person join the herd? Hell no! Unless you want to. Never do it on account of their insecurities.

I agree.

Or if you do decide to play along, play by your own rules.

I'm a field supervisor at work. I dont party with the guys that work for me. I will break bread with them, invite them to mu home, and visit theirs. But we dont drink or hang out. If a barbque or house party starts getting loose I make my exit.

I dont particularly care for the management staff so I never ever do anything with them. I dont attend the Christmass party, but I do make an appearence at the company picknic.

guess u never really KNOW people u work with .... have had a clean lovable guy turn up dead at home with a needle sticking from his vein

but if u really look around some people do seem `off" tiny bit

my work takes me to different location in same county everyday so literally see maybe 500 `co-workers" that know my name without me knowing theirs ...

i am like a contractor type of guy ..i do my stuff i get paid ..i am not obliged to attend any function etc.. and i don`t either

people are supposed to act and life in a certain propriety way in my job.. i try to comply but i still end up sounding opinionated , sarcastic and do`t `quite belong"

u see what u `` WANT to see" only with coworkers though....
had this girl used to be a pest a work u know like am her faggot bff... so one of my coworkers `fun type of guy" commented he went to strip club with friends and they spent like a thousand bucks !
i am like WTF !! and let it go like `hey was it full contact nude ....."
i will never forget the look on that `petsy " girl`s face.... like what do u know.....
i am still waiting for a year now for her to say AYE!! ...lol!

anyway people think i am bit teeny `off" because image, altitude ,occupation .. everything don`t quite ADD-UP... i feel their pain lol!!
