If Malcolm X could see black people today I think he would throw up. 1. If Malcolm X could see black people today marching on the government for jobs. 2. If Malcolm X could see black people supporting gay marriage. 3. If Mallcolm X could hear rappers calling black people niggers, and talking about killing blacks. 4. If Malcolm X could hear black females calling themselves bitches. 5. If Malcolm X could see these black reality TV shows like The Bsketball Wives and Love and Hip Hop. 6. If Malcolm X could see the large number of black on black crime. If Malcolm X could see black people today I think he would throw up. |

7. If Malcolm X read you posting the same crap over and over; he would throw up. We get it. All blacks are the same to you folks. We all fail. Edited by TommyT, Aug 4 2012, 01:12 AM.

LOL! I understand. Malcolm has been dead for a long time now and while his legacy lives on, it is disingenuous, at best, to gage how he would feel about today's issues in the Black community. We can make an attempt to extrapolate from the way he was back then and perhaps develop some rough theoretical assertion, but even then we have no way of knowing with any degree certainty of how Malcolm might have evolved were he alive today. For instance, if Malcolm were alive today, what would be the relationship between he and Minister Farrakhan? How would he feel about the NOI of today? Malcolm was moving in a different direction that was at the same time independent of, and to some extent, counter to the teachings of the NOI. Suffice it to say that many in the NOI had become very envious of Malcolm's relationship with Elijah Muhammad, his meteoric rise within the NOI, and Malcolm's charismatic personality. The situation was exacerbated when Mlacolm discoverd that Elijah Muhammad was spreading his seeds amongst some of the young NOI sisters. the summarily kicking tghem to the curve like $2 prositutes. Making it appear if they were the ones who had "violated" the teachings of the "nation" and their actions singularly and willfully sacrilege. An interesting fact, in and of itself, and palably antithetical to the NOI's supposed teachings of "Brotherhhood", the highest order of integrity, honor, and unimpeachable ethics. Something that many NOI members seem to willing to discuss with any degree candidacy. Hmmmm!
