Agreed! It's safe to conclude, that the overwhelming majority of Black Men are with Black women. That FACT cannot be overemphasized and it overshadows any pretense that Black men are flocking in great numbers to white women. That being said, ultimately, I believe that most people are going to be with whomever they want and don't and shouldn't care what anyone esle has to say about it. I imagine that some people have missed out on what might have been a very beautiful relationship because they were more concerned about what "others" might think rather than how the two of them feel about each other. Free thinking seems to be becoming an increasingly lost art. Edited by Veritas, Jul 13 2012, 10:49 PM.

V, Interracial dating is becoming the norm now. Not just with blacks, but with everybody. |

I don't see it necessarily as "being the norm" cissly, but rather people beginning to discover the basic realization, which is that we are all human beings and have more things in common than we do differences. The emotions that humans call love, transcends race and ethnicty or, at least, it should. I believe that the vestiges of slavery and the hardships suffered by Black people afterwards still make seeing one of us with someone from another race, a bit uncomfortable and unintentionally and erroneously affirms for those who do not have a strong sense of self, that Black people are "less than". So going out to find a "mate" from another race is considered "moving up." SMDH at that though! Edited by Veritas, Jul 13 2012, 11:13 PM.
