They are a success for you women who wanted a one night stand. Stop acting like women are fragile human beings who cant handle stuff. |

I don't do one night stands. But I respect women who do it within limits. |

What rational person has sex with someone they've met on the first dayum night in this day and age of HIV, new forms of STDs that don't respond to conventional treatments and just plain psychotic people who know how to cloak their "crazy" very well until it's too late? Who the hell can connect with someone so quickly that they are willing to share such an intimate "moment" with them after a few hours of being together? One night stand? More like a one night "chance" of getting your ass hurt or killed or contracting a life long disease.

For once I agree with you V. But you'd be surprised of how many people are irrational.

No I wouldn't cissly. I am not naive. I've known people who have been involved in one night stands. Sadly, I have known people who have been beaten, or ended up with an STD. People irrational enough to engage in a one night stand are likely irrational enough not to use protection. Obviously, some people love (using the pejorative terms) "pussy" and "dick", I guess, more than they love themselves. |

My good friend Josh was killed by a one night stand, a strumpet he brought to his house he picked up in a bar and thought she had a new home to live in, but when he told her to leave, she attacked him in his sleep with a kitchen knife. So many people have been killed in such a manner with one night stand business. I became aware of that when I was 8 years old when I read an article in the daily news about a young aspiring actress who got with a man she met in a park. Same thing. He thought he had a new home to live in and when she asked him to leave, he flipped out and dissected her body, boiled her in a pot until the flesh dropped from the bones, he flushed the flesh down the toilet and carried her bones to a locker in Grand Central Station. I was shook up reading that and never forgot that story because the man looked so friendly. And last week there was a woman's body found stabbed to death in her Astoria apartment, and likely from a one night stand. |

Tragic stories. At the end of the day, some people feel it simply boils down to two "consenting" adults who decide to take that risky ride. I submit that, it has some validity. Who can tell two consenting adults that they are wrong for having a one night stand? However, your stories underscore some of the potential dangers and risks involved in such endeavours. I don't see one night stands ending. Some men and women go to clubs for just that purpose. To each his reach, but it could end up being death from a thousand cuts or a lifetime of bad ju ju! |
