Dr Boyce Watkins is a black college professor and he's a well respected brother. Check out this article that he did called Why I would trade my first black president for a white guy.

To have a PHD, this guy does not have a clue who gov't works. I do not understand how they believe a President can do as he please because in order to get anything done, he must work with others on the Hill. It is hard to bully the congress because they control the pursue strings.

Bush looked out for white people, white presidents look out for white people.

LOL! What a stupid article. He pretty much sums up why Barack can't specifically fight only for blacks (he's responsible for a nation, not a singular group); so what the hell is Boyce talking about? He's comparing a President with limited power to a free-willing preacher/community activist. Politics is a different arena.

Uhh....Because the country is 72% white and it's not hard to do?

Stupid topic. How come it couldn't just simply state "Why I prefer a different person over Obama?" The "white" part detracts from and invalidates the entire arugument in my opinion.

You've expressed your dislike and a hatred for Obama through a 100 different outlets. And I doubt you're from Chicago. But what do I know.....

And ain't Watkins the same negro who told us not to vote?

I will throw my vote away on Ron Paul, but I plan on voting for the offices that have something to do with me.
