Bail Out

A year and a day after the horrific attacks, Chris attended his bail hearing at an Albany County courthouse. To the surprise of many, his mother also showed up at the courthouse to support her accused son. It was Joan's first public appearance since the fateful morning of November 15, 2004. Capital News 9 reported that she had "visible scars around her jaw" and had "lost an eye in the attack."

A decision wasn't made that day regarding bail but was postponed until the following week. On November 22, 2005, Judge Jeffrey Barry presiding over the case set bail at $250,000 in cash or $1 million bond. Szubielski quoted Albany County DA David Soares who said that the bond was "unprecedented in Albany County" and "one step in the path of presenting our case to the jury."

It took several weeks, but friends and family of the Porcos managed to collect enough money to pay the bail of $250,000 in full. On December 2, 2005, Chris was released on bail. As he walked away from the jail with his attorney, Terence Kindlon, he was surrounded by members of the press who were eager to know what his plans were before the case went to trial. Sean O'Grady of Capital News 9 quoted him as saying that he felt "pretty good" to be out of jail, adding that, he was "absolutely innocent" and "looking forward to trial." It was his first public appearance since the attacks."

What your EXTRA dumb self-hating azz don't understand is that there is no reasonable doubt that Zimmerman went and pursued Trayvon

According to FL Lawmakers' officials,
Zimmerman is not on trial for pursuit stupid and Florida lawmakers won't be on the jury.

True but some Florida law makers including the man who is the author of the law are saying that because it seems that Zimmerman pursued Trayvon, they believe the SYG law doesn't apply to him. We have to wait and see.

Exactly! Because he's on trial for P-U-R-S-U-I-N-G someone for the purpose of shooting them then invoking a right to the "Stand Your Ground" legislation, for trouble he started with someone. For a confrontation that he initiated with a kid, for antagonizing he unfurled onto a kid.

And according to the people who authored the legislation, he has no Right to do that.

So you can play dumb and cover for White racists in your rants here, that's cool. Just make sure you know, that if I'm visiting this forum and I read it......then you will be getting exposed with facts truths or veracity from American History.

Exactly my point to that bozo I've been responding to. All it takes is one juror one way or the other. Anyone who's ever served on a jury knows this

Neither you, me, or anyone else in America knows what happened when the two of them were face to face. That's where reasonable doubt will come into play and what the actual trial will be about. Keep focusing on SYG all you want. I think those of you who think this is a slam dunk conviction are in for a rude awakening

The entire time they have not been focusing on his pursuit.

In my eyes that should end the trail, that he initiated the fight when advised not to.

They are investigating the fight. Did trayvon really follow him back to his truck. Did tray on really slam his head into the concrete multiple times. Did tray on really bust his nose.

Sure trayvon may have been heard calling for help. But was this after he beat George to a pulp and George pulled out the gun.

His brother also said trayvon tried to remove the gun from George.

This means if trayvon tried to disarm George then its now considered self defense. (This is what defense will use)

I think none of the above happened but again I didn't see the fight.

Yeah and i have heard so many conflicting reports on his injuries. It would not shock me if Zimmerman get's off.
