Look at difference between the 2 both of them exercised there and look at how conservatives were going at the Dixie Chics. They said nothing about Ted Nugent and he really was really talking big boy shit about Obama.

During a London concert ten days before the 2003 invasion of Iraq, lead vocalist Maines said "we don't want this war, this violence, and we're ashamed that the President of the United States (George W. Bush) is from Texas".[1] The statement offended many country music fans, who thought it rude and unpatriotic, and the ensuing controversy fanned by politicians and mass media led to the eventual cancellation of their American tour that year. The incident led to hate mail, death threats, and the public destruction of their albums in protest.[2]

In a Romney stump speech at the 2012 NRA Convention in St. Louis, Nugent said, "If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year." He also compared the Obama administration to coyotes who needed to be shot, and encouraged voters to "chop [Democrats'] heads off in November."[55]

Of course Nugent hasn't had a charting album since 1980 though.

FUCK TED NUGENT, THAT DRAFT DODGING WAR MONGERING MOTHER FUCKER.

This piece of shit and the people just like him have double standards. That's all it is to it. The Dixie Chics are "COUNTRY MUSIC" singers and we all know who the audience is who loves country music (MOSTLY) and their attitudes toward who is and what is American.

And just in case you didn't know, Natalie Maines husband is 1/2 Iranian. His father is Iranian. So don't think for one second that this doesn't sway how these hateful bastards apply their double standards.

Speaking of DOUBLE STANDARDS (off topic) Look up the Mormon faith and see what their beliefs are when it comes to OTHER Christians. You will see why Mitt Romney doesn't want to talk about his religion.

According to Mormons, if you practice any other form of Christianity, your denomination is pretty much corrupted and doesn't follow the true intent of Jesus Christ. Your version is a water down version. Both God and Jesus told the Mormons that their beliefs are the true beliefs.

Now you want to tell me that these right winged nut jobs hate Obama that much that they would put up with this bullshit?

What you will see is mittens trying to convince Americans that the President is waging a war on religion. He will embrace, even if tacitly, the assertion that the President is a Muslim. Anything to keep people from focusing on his mormon religion. Wouldn't be suprised if he selects a southern teavanglican to be his ruuning mate. Mittens has an insatiable need for power. He has plenty of money, so power is all that's left for him to pursue. We can put NOTHING passed this cat in his pursuit of the Presidency.

Those who support the presdient can ill afford to be complacent. This election will be hotly contested and probably the nastiest in history. The republiklans are going to invoke every mythical boogey man that they can think of including, Trayvon, Rev Wright, Bill Ayers, and Farrakhan, just for starters.

They already have a contingent of uncle tom Blacks, some of them who peruse this board, who will attack Obama and try to convince Black people that he is the anti-Christ. The pathological prevaricators will be out in force. Brace yourselves!

Ted Nugent was on point.

He can't stand Obama, because, he feels that Obama wants to take away the right to bear arms.

Blacks need to wake up and realize that they can bear arms just like anyone else can in this country, and shouldn't support anyone who wants to take that right away.

It's the drugs talking!
No, it's commonsense talking.

I see where Ted is coming from, but he is expressing it in the wrong way.

Blacks out of all people should be supporting the right to have guns, because of Black on innocent Black crime.

Damien you know damn well that is right wing propaganda. The only thing Obama has done with guns laws is allowed them to be carried into Federal Parks. You'd think these gun loons would love that but they are still trying to say that Obama is going to do away with there 2nd Amendment rights. I'm pretty sure gun owners love it when a Democrats get elected cause there sales typically triple when a Democrat is in office.
