Okay people, I need your help. Planning on throwing a 70's party, customs, music, the whole 9 but I need some ideas.

I’ve already collected an 70's selection of music:

Parliament
Bootsy Collins
Bras Constructions
Earth Wind & Fire
Kool and the Gang
Salve
Ohio Players
( I know I’m missing some popular sounds, have any suggestions?)

Also, does anyone remember names of popular dance moves that was back in the 70's? If so, help me out. My goal is to make this party as authentic as possible.

I found a place that sells Black Power posters, black lights, and 70's nostalgia. The people attending the party, are encourage to wear, platform shoes, bellbottom pants, halter tops and Afro’s.

I’m dying to see if people still remembers words to the songs of the 70's. Better yet, be able to do certain dance moves.

Card tables will be going and dominoes games jumping off, should be fun.

Let's not forget the BBQ, beer and potato salad, you know our people gotta get our eat on.

So tell me, if you have any memories of the 70's and want to share them.

Got a great idea from your list of dances. I'll write down each dance on a piece a paper. Place the pieces a of papers in a bag then let people draw from the bag and see if they can do the dance they drew.

The winner will receive dinner for two and a bottle of Crown Royal black label.

To make sure I recognize the dance moves when I see them I'll check them out on YouTube.

After checking out these dance moves on YouTube I have no doubt that we are going to have a ball with this.

Down loading most of the songs off the Internet.

To add to the nostalgia, I found a glass Bong, still in good shape too.

Sounds like you are putting a lot of effort into this, maybe you should think about this being an annual thing if it's not already.
