Do rich black people in America feed the poor, do you even ask that question of them? Edited by Nat Turner, May 7 2012, 03:53 AM.

When is the last tiem you saw a starving child with barely any clothes on out on the streets in America? Oh and to answer your question Senator Elizabeth Dole has been an advocate for the Farm Bill, Food Employment Empowerment and Development (FEED) Act, McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program, and the Senate Hunger Caucus. Actor Jesse Metcalfe, formerly seen on the ABC TV hit series Desperate Housewives, believes that no one should suffer as a result of hunger. Metcalfe recently participated in a public service announcement on behalf of Stop Hunger Now. http://www.stophungernow.org/site/News2?page=NewsArticle&id=5323 During Hunger Action Month we’re asking the public to fight hunger in their community by making a Hunger Action Month pledge. Every action makes a difference,” said Escarra. Many celebrities and sports figures have already signed a pledge, including NFL legend Joe Montana, actor David Arquette, singer Kat McPhee, chef Curtis Stone, NASCAR race car driver Kyle Busch, the Food Network’s Ellie Krieger and John Bell, of Widespread Panic. Their pledges can be viewed at www.hungeractionmonth.org. Read more: http://www.looktothestars.org/news/4993-celebrities-back-feeding-america-hunger-action-month#ixzz1uBGRw3Ga |

That's good info Kenny. There are a lot of charities (food banks) and the like filling in where budgets leave off. This is a good thing that has grown to the point of straining the charities resources. There are people who are not getting enough food in america for a number of reasons. However you don't, at this point, see people lying in the streets dying of starvation. |

I'm still laughing at him posting an article (which he didn't read) about an African immigrant who said he was "glad" to get out of Africa! |
