Right and although college isn't for everyone, the alternative shouldn't be JAIL.
I think a big problem is Jail is too nice. These young kids out here, they don't fear jail enough. They need to fear jail far more than they ignore education. There is no way even a single person should be happy to go back to jail. In other countries? Jail is hell. Holes in the ground, no running water, food that takes you days to finally keep down after you get used to it. I'm sure in America that would be considered inhumane but, you know what, we're reaching pandemic stages with this shit and for those who won't listen to reason you need to put the damn FEAR into em.
The only problem I have with that is the justice system in the US have many issues and there are black being put there that don't deserve to be there. Whites are given second chances and blacks are not. If the playing field was equal i wouldn have a problem with throwing them all in a dump. When people like Zimmerman avoid the dump and a black woman that didn't kill anyone being forced to live there for 20 yrs because of race, i have a problem with those conditions.

Education and becoming an entrepreneur to me are two different things. I value education but for many of us it means getting knowledge and learning skills to work for someone else and ensuring that they get rich. Being an entrepreneur is gaining knowledge and putting your skills to use to work for yourself, to create a business and to hire people which we need in the black community.
Isn't gaining knowledge education regardless of what you do with the knowledge obtained??
Hey you beat me to it!
Yes and no-there are chinese, african, indian, italian, korean who work in their parents shops, restaurants and family businesses learning that trade and that profession and some do not have a strong formal education but they learn from an early age how to be an entrepreneur. This is often the basis for why so many immigrants can build on their backgrounds and go on and do well and succeed in this society. What you do with any education is key but we need to become more business minded.

I think you are confusing me saying education with going to college.

Most people do.

Are you suggesting, forgetting all about your high school education, with people who can barely read, and having them try to be an entrepreneur?

Oh and peep how many Africans, Asians, etc, send their kids to America to go to college.

JUST SAYIN!

Equality doesn't exist in humanity. Someone will always be on top and all others will always support the bottom rungs.

Like I always tell the clones, everyone doesn't want to run a business.

That is true not everyone does want to run a business but to be harsh and honest. Some of the same Black men who say they do not want to go to school, do not want to go to college and do not want to run a business are some of the smartest and at organising to sell drugs, running drug cartels and organising gangs in illegal activity. I do not understand why they never use these skills for legitimate business.

Because running a legit business takes time, effort and capital. Brothers in the drug game want the quick money and don't have to worry about licensing, regulation, and taxation

When you're ass is starving, broke, and can't get a job let's see what you do.

A person's first option should be to try things the legit way, but once that fails for years, then I can't blame a person for selling drugs.

I would rather for that person to do that, then to rob innocent people.
