I don't need to do a damn thing over a fake ass Black empowerment website except keep shitting on fuck ass tag team combos like you and Damien like it's my job. And as long as you keep lying about this shit I'll keep shitting on you from such a height you'd think God himself was doing it. And as long as someone like Damien has your back, well, you might as well just sit your broke ass back down and take this shit. |

I wish two would squash this beef. You two simply view one world with two different sets of eyes. That is a good thing. |

Kenny, I believe you view the world in black & white, not literally mind you. You have an old fashioned "pull yourself up by the bootstraps" view of things. As an advocate for self-determination, I understand where you are coming from. However, you don't seem to have much consideration for the various shades of gray that permeates through life. Not everything is quite what it seems in life, and with people. For many, life chances are not always so straight-forward, and clear cut. You may view that previous paragraph as an excuse for people not to try harder to succeed in life. I think that is where some folks would hold the opinion that you see yourself better than others. But no, I have never read any post from you stating that you are better than anyone. Nor do I believe that you view yourself as being better. |

I have plenty of consideration for the shades of gray. For example I believe the following. If you're black in this country, you automatically start off in a disadvantaged situation. If your parents don't value education, then that's probably a disadvantage If your parents are black, young, and poor then you're starting off disadvantaged. Those are things out of your control, but things that can be overcome Now here are things I believe are in your control. You can go to school every day. Although I'll admit, up until a certain age that's largely your parent's responsibility. Eventually though, it falls on the individual student. You can study hard in school. You can abstain from sex at an early age You can abstain from drugs at an early age You can avoid hanging with the wrong crowd These are things that are in your control, that you can't blame anyone else for that can lead to a successful life despite whatever your beginnings were. Advocating for personal responsibility isn't the same as not considering the various shades of gray that permeate life.
