Wrong as usual, but at least you're consistently wrong. I guess that has to count for something

No. He's right. You do think you're better than other blacks.

I'm pretty damn sure based off your own comments and the comments sent back in your direction that most of the people you debate with and even agree with think you're a view yourself on a higher plane than most Black people based on the sole conclusion that you "raised college kids." They may not type it back to you but they're thinking it. And the fact you can't see it even as you type it means your brain is actually addled and just proves even a guy on the verge of mental retardation can "raise" college kids. Another thing I noticed is, based off your thoughts and ramblings, you probably hate being a Black male and father in present time. You'd probably be happier born and raised as a White man in 1819. Hell, you wouldn't even have to change your mentality. You're view on personal superiority over every (and only) Black people around will help you fit right in. |

So because I talk about personal responsibility for your own life, I think I'm better than everyone else? Only on this simple minded forum. Here's a challenge for you "brotha", Quote one post made by me where I said I was better than anyone. Just one. And I don't mean your own interpretation of my words. I'll wait but I won't hold my breath because I know those posts don't exist.

Personal responsibility isn't your issue. You think you're better than other blacks. Period. You should listen more carefully to your commentary.

I do not think Kenny gives off the impression that he is better than anyone. He does though act as if issues, problems and conflict in the wider black community does not concern him and as long as he is okay and doing well then that is all that matters. Burying our heads in the sand and pretending that there is nothing we can do to help those in need is part of why so many issues in the black community never get resolved. |

How do you help those in need when they won't help themselves. Giving someone a meal when he is hungry is a lot different than trying to talk some sense into a gangbanger's head. I will not even put my life on the line or waste my time with a gangbanging knucklehead looking for quick cash that don't value his own life. |

No, not everyone else. You seem to feel your either right below or on par with most Whites and Asians. No, you say you're better than every damn Black male you come across because you think you're better than every damn Black male you come across. Period. And that's an issue you need to come to grips with. Or don't. You can only lead a brother to the truth. You can't make him look at it. He has to open his eyes for himself. We have to stop being in denial though as what is affecting hundreds of thousands of black men is going to have a detrimental effect on the black community long term. Our communities will become more drug infested, more gang infested, more crime zones, more run down with no hopes of investment, business growth or redevelopment. We are increasingly seeing this in many of our larger cities where too may black people have just been forgotten. Our numbers will decrease, our levels of education will get worse and we will stagnate. Not everyone can be helped but everyone can do something. Donate books and materials to your local school, become a mentor, help improve the condition of your local school, fight to get libraries to stay open, support weekend education support centers. |

No irresponsibility is why so many issues in the black community don't get resolved. At what point Mal is it on the individual to do something about their own condition? |
