I'm sure that Obama is aware by now that the republiklans do not and will not "play fair". Boehner is already poised for another hostage negotiation with the national debt, which, btw, was never a problem until Obama got in office. Ray Gun raised the debt so many times it will make your head spin. Make no mistake, all of the social issues aside, this election will be a referendum on the economy and most folks will perceive success or failure of the Obama adminstration based on their own personal fortunes or lack thereof. I believe that Obama can leverage this and run on his record successfully. While it hasn't been sterling, the things that he has accomplished in the face of almost insurmountable challenges that he was confronted with, are noteworthy. Hopefully his strategists will be able to make that case in a manner that will resonate with enough of the American people to get him re-elected. We shall see. The thought of a Mittens Robme presidency is nothing less than disturbing. Mittens is already posied to use the American military to bring back the "big stick" foreign policy where we bully all of the other nations into submission in the name of "American Exceptionalism". Mittens says the world is not "safe" and implicit in that statement is that we need a bigger, more costly military to ensure that America is "safe". Mittens plans to make the millitary bigger on the txes from the middle class. The implimentation of the "Rayan Budget" will ensure this. 911 has Americans more frighten than ever. There's a boogey man hiding behind every foreign national and anyone that isn't a card carrying WASP. That's how it works. Scare the hell of them. Fear is, arguably, the most powerful emotion there is and people will do just about anyhting to eliminate it or what they perceive it to be. The republiklans are very skillful at inciting fear and it's efficaciousness has been a proven commodity for them over a significant period of time. Be careful of the thought seeds that you plant in the garden of your mind. For seed grow after their kind. |

Or, you could tell us that story you impress pushing here, of... why it is that Harvard & Yale should be viewed as the only viable law schools, for considering our Presidents & SCOTUS Justices? |

Hmmm. Certainly seems more than coincidental given the number of good lawyers from many other schools in the country! |

Bush went to Yale and Obama went to Harvard, and those 2 Ivy League guys have grown the national debt by 10 trillion dollars. Going to Harvard or Yale doesn't mean you are smart, and it doesn't mean you would make a better president than anybody else. It's a secret society. Edited by Miami, Sep 24 2012, 08:36 PM.

The American president is already picked before anybody goes to the poll. Poor pitiful Americans think that they are picking the president. Do you think that it's an accident that every president in the last 20 years either went to Harvard or Yale? |
