Thank God for Elijah Muhammad, Malcolm X and the Nation of Islam, they changed black people thinking for the better.

well it gave blacks two options. either integrate and be like the white man or "do for self" and chart your our course. blacks chose to be like the white man and that is why we are in our current state.

It's amazing you got black people that don't want to give the honorable Elijah Muhammad the credit that he deserve.

The church did not get Malcolm out of prison and give him a platform to speak. It was the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Nation of Islam that did. Malcolm became a great leader in the nation of Islam.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad gave Malcolm his last name Shabbazz in 1957.
Good point.

Hopefully you realize when Malcolm X speaks he does so as the mouth piece of Elijah Muhammed.
You must mean Pre-Mecca.
The pre-Mecca Malcolm X is often the most quoted one. When did this interview take place?
Malcolm was no "mouth piece" for Elijah AFTER Mecca. Thus the reason for my comment.
He came back and created the "Black Nationalists", an organization independent of racism. That may have contributed to his demise. In Mecca, he wittnessed many muslims of every ethnic group and culture, a stark contrast to the way it was perceived and practised in America.

That's because race relations in America are fucked up. Nobody other country purposely tries to draw up obscure, non-existent race lines faster than Americans. Just read Marcus's post. He hates Obama JUST FOR HAVING WHITE ANCESTRY. How fucked up is that?

Malcolm X went to Mecca and had his eyes opened. He realized that America in the 60's was crazy and all fucked up and that different people of different colors could live, work, play, and marry each other once he stepped foot outside. That's why I promote as many Americans as possible traveling to other countries to see that shit for themselves. They live in a 5 mile radius of their homes and think that's how 6 billion people live.

Again, Malcolm already knew that true Islam was diverse with all races including the white man. His coming back from Mecca and stating what he did was just for political purposes.

I encourage you to travel to different countries. No matter where you go the socalled black people will be at the bottom of all non-black societies. It's not because we are inferior. It's because the world is color coded. The belief of the West guides the world.
