Why do some Black men not take any responsibility for the condition of the Black community?; From school drop outs, unemployment, gangs, abandoning families, prison populations and crime.

It is very hard to know if you are telling the truth or not most of the time. I hope it is not true that you are taking drugs to give you energy that is ridiculous. Your body is not a car or a machine, you ingest drugs that do more damage to your organs long term than any other substance. Damien is way too over the top to be real

Damien are you afraid of the consequences to your physical health as a result of your drug use.
You speak of staying in shape and how that is important to you, yet you damage your body with drugs?
Isnt that a bit backwards?
Just asking?
Doing an 8 ball a day is over doing it. I do coke so I can stay awake on the weekends. When energy drinks and Starbucks was strong, I didn't need coke. When ephedrine was not banned, I didn't need it.

Your body is not a car or a machine, you ingest drugs that do more damage to your organs long term than any other substance. What I do to my body is my business. That's the point I am trying to make.
If I am not bothering anyone, then who should give a fuck.

The breakdown of the family is destroying the black community. We have allowed too many of our youth to run the streets unsupervised, with no discipline, no direction and no hope. Too many "fathers" have decided that the responsibility of raising their kids gets in the way of other selfish endeavors, so they become absent, leaving mothers to raise children alone. Too many black youth, especially young males, are raised on the streets with no hope of a future other than crime and jail. They're not taught personal responsibility for their behavior, and as a result they end up in the criminal justice system for life. There is so much that is currently going wrong in the lives of young black males from high school drop out rates in some cities over 50%, joining gangs, black on black murder rates, 1 in 3 Black males will have contact with the criminal justice system and high unemployment rates. On this board too many weak men will insult Black women on a daily basis about clothes, clubs and dating and tying to blame them for all the ills in the Black community. Yet they will never look in the mirror at themselves or as men take responsibility for the situation we are in. Is the basis for all the communities problems Black men who take no responsibility for their lives. I was in the Million Man March and that was the purpose of the Million Man March. It was a day for black men to atone and accept responsibily for their failure and bad behavior.

It means that rehabilitation, as a means of reintroducing former prisoners back into society, is an abject failure for the most part.
Rehabilitation is only as effective as the person's desire to be rehabilitated. Ask Judge Mathis
Ask Malcolm X. Malcolm was a special case and more of an aberration than the general rule.

Looking at the prison population, I'd say it didn't work Yes it did work because if it wasn't for the Million Man March there would be a lot more black men in prison.
