It's September..... Jonah's wife wanted to dance with me to this song......

So we danced! And Jonah joined in this time, not just standing off to the side watching.. LOL

Then my father joined in... all four of us..... dancing In September!!!!!!!

Earth Wind & Fire.. September

Seriously, who has not tried to sing like Phillip Bailey at least once?

Phillip Bailey is the lead singer of Earth, Wind & Fire.

He is the guy with the high-pitched voice.

I saw him at my local grocery store one day...and he was wearing one of the same outfits I had seen him in on stage two days prior. I'm wrong to say that, I know. Lol! Otherwise, I would not have believed it was him. :D

Mine are disco and chocolate chip cookies.

I grew up in the discos. Chic, Donna Summer, Voyage, Carrie Lucas...etc. The list is virtually endless. The music in the clubs was magical as the djs tuned the sound to fit the club.

Of course there was (in my case) the women. Women and sex. It was like a slice of heaven. I remember an interview with Grace Jones saying it was the happiest moment of her life. For those of us who shared the period, I totally agree.

Now the cc cookies. In a way, disco and cookies are related. I was dating a girl in boston during the disco period who liked Faneuil Hall market place, a tourist mecca. We would always grab cookies at a place called the boston chipyard. Awesome cookies. For years I baked my own trying to duplicate theirs. In the process I became addicted to cc cookies. Now I bake 'em regularly to near perfection.

Denis Leary.

Quite possibly, one of the greatest white men of all time.

Here is one of my favorite songs.

Whenever I feel down, I just sing this song.

When you are having a bad day, sing this song.

I have a buddy at work.

Our friendship was formed when I played Denis' first song.

He sent this great song to me on my facebook page.

This is another feel good song.

Body swapping.

That is what happens when your mind inhabits the body of another, and that person's mind inhabits your body.

The mind of Lex Luthor inhabits the body of the Flash.

I wonder....how many of my foes would cream at the thought of inhabiting the super-powered, thrice-blessed chocolate body of the Dread Zen-Guru?

I posted a song from the classic UK soul band, Loose Ends.

Here is another one of my favorites.
