Here is another Shabba classic.

How many people stopped caring about reggae when Shabba fell off the map?

Oh yeah, a shameless parody follows this video.

I have a weird confession to make.

My mom used to throw parties on the weekend when my brother & I were kids.

The Isley Brothers were a personal favorite. My mom has records on top of records of them.

I am also a self-professed comic book geek.

As we got a bit older, mom stopped with the partying.

When we were able to afford our on washer & dryer we stayed home on Fridays did the laundry.

My brother would put on her old Isley Brothers records.

Every Friday before I went home from school, I would take my saved money, and go to Thrifty's & buy comics.

I would get these X-Men reprints from the late 1970s.

So I would spend my Fridays reading old school X-Men, and listening to the Isley Brothers.

I said all this to post that whenever I hear an Isley tune, I automatically think of the X-Men.

Yeah, it is Uncanny.
