Guilty pleasure update: binge watching martial arts and other fighting movies.

Watching Solomon Kane at the moment.
And then whatever Netflix suggests since I watched the previous movie; and so on, and so on, and so on.
I heard Daredevil (Season One) on Netflix was pretty good.
I watched a few episodes. It was too dark for me. Literally, the cinematography is too dark.

Ah ha! Maybe you'd LOVE the show. Maybe they were trying to make the white cast look dark-skinned. That must be it!

Or maybe they just screwed up; after all, it's a white cast, but the lighting is so bad you can't see them.

I was hoping they would release it outside Netflix. I'm not sure how much longer I can wait, especially with season two on the way.

The production should improve greatly with season two.

Daredevil is mostly known as a crime noir superhero story.

I am interested in Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), and Deadshot(Will Smith) in this film.

So far, I am not too keen on Harley & the Joker.

I am impressed with Batman here, despite the decision to age the character here. I understand his animosity with Superman here.

Sadly, Superman appears to be a lost soul looking for guidance which is no bueno, to me.

WW really could have put on a solid ten pounds.

SMH at another less than intimidating & far from awe-inspiring Lex Luthor.

I do salute the continued fine casting of Alfred Pennyworth with Jeremy Irons.

My little girl is obsessed with bears now. After visiting the zoo she talks non-stop about the bear! LOL

She has a coloring book with bears in it, she wants a stuffed bear, she wants a pet bear! She wants to be a bear for Halloween.

She's "bear"iffic!  I love that child.

The movie did well so far!

(LOS ANGELES) -- Ant-Man crawled past the competition for the second weekend in a row.

The Marvel movie, starring Paul Rudd as the titular superhero, remains the box office champ after earning an estimated 24.8 million dollars from Friday through Sunday.

The video game-themed Adam Sandler flick Pixels opened in second place, collecting 24 million dollars -- perhaps a disappointing total, since the film had a production budget of 88 million.

The Jake Gyllenhaal boxing drama Southpaw bowed in fifth place with 16.5 million, one spot ahead of Paper Towns, which had a 12.5-million-dollar debut.

Here are the top 10 movies from Friday through Sunday, with estimated ticket sales, according to Rentrak:

1. Ant-Man, $24.8 million
2. Pixels, $24 million
3. Minions, $22.1 million
4. Trainwreck, $17.3 million
5. Southpaw, $16.5 million
6. Paper Towns, $12.5 million
7. Inside Out, $7.4 million
8. Jurassic World, $6.9 million
9. Mr. Holmes, $2.8 million
10. Terminator Genisys, $2.4 million

Bow Ties on me - the topic of conversation around my house lately.

So many choices, I can't decide which ones I like the most!
