Although this was played serious, I find this exchange between Batman & Hawkman hilarious.

Meet the Marvel fan energizing Black Panther fans with his fake magazine coversBy Ben Kuchera on Jun 03, 2015 at 12:30p I first stumbled on Darian Robbins' Black Panther magazine covers and other bits of worldbuilding on Twitter, where they had gone viral. I had assumed it was a publicity stunt on the part of Marvel, but when I found out they were fan art, I wanted to track down the man responsible. This cover of Wired he created does more to build the world of Black Panther in one image than most trailers. /cdn0.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/3752364/Screen_Shot_2015-06-03_at_10.41.52_AM.0.png) "I chose these covers because I was thinking about how to bridge the gap of fiction to reality to help world building and character introduction," Robbins told Polygon. "The idea came from the first Iron Man movie when they showed a montage sequence of Tony Stark on various magazine covers. Wired Magazine, for instance." That sort of connection between the world of superheroes and our world allows us to connect to the characters. "It helped establish his character for the audience and how he would be covered through media outlets that exist in reality," Robbins continued. "I felt that you would have to do the same with T'Challa as well. However with social media and other media outlets you don't have to wait for a movie to do it. In fact, Marvel shouldn't wait to do so. The audience is waiting and in want." There is another aspect to these covers: T'Challa is many things at once, and he's very good at all of them. It can be easy to sell us on the idea of a lawyer who fights crime, but Black Panther is both a ruler and a scientist, a brilliant mind who is also sitting on a huge stockpile of one of the most powerful natural resources in the world: Vibranium. /cdn0.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/3752472/Screen_Shot_2015-06-03_at_10.57.47_AM.0.png) "In the comic book universe T'Challa is equal to Stark in intelligence and heroism and surpasses him in others: technology, wealth, and leadership," Robbins said. "For the non-comic book readers it might be hard to understand the latter, so hopefully the mock covers and other media would help people get up to speed."Everyone would be talking about him, from technologists to politicians to the military. That's a bit harder to communicate to people who don't know the character. Robbins is a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry, with 15 years of experience working on satellites for NASA. His work as a multimedia artist is a bit of a hobby, and has been for over 20 years. /cdn0.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/3752504/Screen_Shot_2015-06-03_at_11.02.32_AM.0.png) "I also have selfish reasons to do this project as well," Robbins said. "I would love the opportunity to contribute to this movie. I know I am not in the movie industry or in a position to do so, but being a creative type I get ideas in my head of what I would want to experience in this movie and how I would want it marketed. Ideas so strong that it's hard for me to let go, so I have to create it in some format, release it to the world, get it out of my head, so I can move on." His faux magazine covers have already netted him a good amount of attention online, and they've caused more than a few people I know to look up more information on the Black Panther comics before the movie is released. "But hey, Marvel," Robbins continued. "I got a few more ideas ... if you want to hear them."

Title of "Guardians of the Galaxy" Sequel Revealed
http://abcnewsradioonline.com/entertainment-news/title-of-guardians-of-the-galaxy-sequel-revealed.html
(LOS ANGELES) -- The title for the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy has been revealed.
Writer/director James Gunn confirmed the title Monday on Twitter. He wrote, "Yes, the official title for the @Guardians sequel is GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2."
It was Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige who first spilled the beans, in an interview with Collider. He commented, "We start shooting Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 in February-March 2016."
The first film made 333 million dollars at the domestic box office following its release last August. It grossed 774 million worldwide.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 will hit theaters in May of 2017.
Marvel is owned by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.

And then there is Ant Man! Maybe he'll want to go see this with me too?
Stars Swarm World Premiere of "Ant-Man"
http://abcnewsradioonline.com/entertainment-news/stars-swarm-world-premiere-of-ant-man.html
(LOS ANGELES) -- Ant-Man cast members Michael Douglas, Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Judy Greer, and Michael Pena were among the celebrities who swarmed the red carpet in Los Angeles Monday night for the world premiere of Marvel's latest superhero hit.
Other Marvel series stars who showed their support for the size-shifting hero included Guardians of the Galaxy writer-director James Gunn, his GOTG co-star Michael Rooker, as well as Ant-Man co-creator -- and, naturally, Ant-Man cameo player Stan Lee -- and J. August Richards and Brett Dalton from Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
In Ant-Man, Rudd plays Scott Lang, a thief who unwittingly steals a suit that gives him the power to shrink down to the size of the titular insect. The technology was developed by Douglas' character, the brilliant scientist Hank Pym, who, decades earlier bore the Ant-Man mantle himself, becoming one of the founding member of The Avengers.
Pym taps Lang to become the hero in an effort to steal its stolen tech back from Stoll's Darren Cross, who builds a competing suit with eyes on creating an army of super-powered, size-shifting soldiers.
ABC Radio wondered what some of the movie's stars would do with that ability.
"I would go to the Oval Office," Lilly told us, "And I would...stay small...and I would...listen to the goings-on and find out...who's really pulling the strings in this country and what's going on."
Pena would choose a more direct path, telling us, "I'd probably kill every terrorist. I'd make 'em pay."
For his part, Douglas told Marvel.com he was, "grateful [to be] in the Marvel family," and called the movie, "a lovely experience...a learning experience," and "a gas, a gas and a half." He also said of the effects, "it's going to blow your mind...It's spectacular."
Ant-Man craws into theaters July 17 -- and be sure to stay past the end credits. While Age of Ultron didn't have a post-credits scene, this movie has one that is not to be missed.
Marvel is owned by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.

The first film was quite good.

Casting Michael Douglas is the same as RDR as Iron Man.
The only problem is that Michael is way too old. Pym is much younger in the comics, and still active as a hero. I need to post some crazy Pym stuff later on.

‘Doctor Who’s’ Peter Capaldi Promises ‘Cataclysmic Repercussions’ in Season 9Thursday, July 2nd, 2015 at 9:54am PST - by Meagan Damore According to Peter Capaldi, the Twelfth Doctor has a lot in store in the upcoming ninth season of “Doctor Who.” “[The Doctor is] throwing himself into life with a newfound hunger for adventure,” Capaldi revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “He’s in pursuit of joy and grabbing every thrill that he can along the way. But I sense him running from something, that even he does not yet understand.” This sense of joy will extend to the Doctor’s current companion, Clara (Jenna Coleman): “They’ve suddenly realized that they are the most fortunate people in all of time and space and are hellbent on adventure. Jenna continues to deliver a beautifully nuanced, complex, and funny performance that marks her out as one of the best companions ever.” Likewise, he described guest star Maisie Williams (“Game of Thrones”) as “a sharp, talented tornado” and revealed she will play a character who “shifts in cosmic ways.” However, as is typical for the space-adventuring Time Lord, this new lease on life won’t be smooth sailing all the way. “[The two-part premiere] places the Doctor in a conflict that is central to his being, as well as containing some subtle tributes to the ’60s, and truly wonderful guest performances.” “There is an epic sweep to this season and I think the villains and monsters reflect that,” he continued. “Great new ones, brilliant old ones and some very scary creatures looming in stories with real emotional ambition.” Among the returning villains, Michelle Gomez’s Missy will also make a comeback, and Capaldi promises, “in the hands of Michelle Gomez, Missy is more magnificently bad than ever before.” As to the photo unveiled in the interview (below), Capaldi teased, “The photo shows the Doctor about to make a mistake that has cataclysmic repercussions.” “Doctor Who” returns to the BBC this fall.

Guilty pleasure update: binge watching martial arts and other fighting movies.
Watching Solomon Kane at the moment. And then whatever Netflix suggests since I watched the previous movie; and so on, and so on, and so on.
