Actually, Sam, you're speaking my language. I like Sci Fi movies, anime, manga, cosplay, and almost anything produced by Stephen Chow in it's original language with English subtitles. Because English voice over's suck.

I also love all genres of music. OK, love is pretty strong. I can listen to all genres of music. Music is about feeling and as humans we go through a whole array of feelings. There's a genre out there for each one. Sadly I haven't found a station yet that plays pop, rap, gangsta, classical, classic rock, now rock, neo rock, techno, soul, r&b, gospel, Scandinavian, eurotrash, metal, pipe & organs, Disney favorites, Bollywood, country...man. I know I'm missing some. But you get the idea. I haven't found a station that plays ALL of that yet so I have to plug in the Zuney when I'm riding.

Fear,

That is why we have ipods & mp3 players.

My mp3 player has r&b, smooth jazz, some gospel (I'm still a godless heathen), rock from 1980s & 1990s, old school rap, pop, reggae, and more.

I love me some anime.

Dragon Ball Z is a personal favorite. I love the insane power ups some of the characters go through.

Here is a personal favorite.

I always tried to get into DBZ, and that looks awesome, but I'm more of a "Soft Action" anime/manga lover. Like FMA, RK, etc.

I do sort of know some of the characters names though.

My Guilty Pleasures I don't consider Guilty.

Anime, Manga, Metal, Pre-90s music, computers, RPGS and MMOS, FPSes, Japanese, Chinese and Scandinavian Culture as a whole. Oh, and Longcoats. Thanks a lot, Arakawa-san.

My personal favorite Heavy Metal band is a Finnish Band named Wintersun. They're awesome.

Computers? Give me anything by Asus.

My favorite Anime/Manga is Fullmetal Alchemist. It's a good twist of Dark themes, action, steampunk, and a perfect dash of humor. My second favorite Manga is Rurouni Kenshin, a Historical Fiction with a nice dash of humor once again. Although I hate how in the first few chapters the main character godmodes in RK.

I used to like Pokemon, I still do, I just don't play the games anymore.

I love Skyrim. And I used to play WoW until Blizz decided to appeal to the Casual players. -_-

Why am I so obsessed with Japanese, Chinese, and Scandinavian culture? I'm just fascinated by them. They all have a strict code of Honor, strong culture, and noble warriors. Yes, even the Vikings were noble, even if they got high off of mushrooms and owned your town. The Samurai were savage as fuck when they fought, and so were Chinese warriors. But they both came home and then acted like Gentlemen, and wrote poetry. Very interesting.

I don't have too many Alter Egos... I'm just Katana. But I can be Gunnhild Bjornsdottir if I get mad. I don't know why...

And that's it. I don't really read/watch American Comic Books, but I did watch "The Next Avengers" this one time when I was bored. It was ok. I like Thor, but you guys are doing it wrong. The real Thor from Norse mythology had red hair and a beard. And was more rugged than the Comic Book Thor. Just a little trivia.
Katana,

As a Thor fan, his early stories actually had a strong theme of romance. He had this forbidden love thing with Jane Foster. That could be why he was blond & clean shaven.

I saw his movie two weeks ago. I loved it.

In the 1980s, writer/artist Walt Simonson made Thor a bit more viking. He sported a full beard. Ever since, some writers will depict Thor with a beard.

One of the funny things about Thor was that he was like a brotha.

During battles, he would claim his "hood", Asgard.

He would talk about how bad he was, and all the godly things he could do.

Thor was Dolemite before Dolemite was Dolemite.

I know right? Thor's Awesome!

I think, now with your description, I might run into that Comic Book shop and pick up a few Thor ones.

I remember that Walt Simonson name from my Starcraft 2 Collectors Edition. He helped out making the #0 Issuse of The Starcraft Comic. Interested in him now.

Katana,

I watched the first season of Rurouni Kenshin years ago. I loved it.

Now that is a movie worth making.

Marvel Comics put out collected editions of Walt's Thor run. You should be able to find it on Amazon.com.

Ah! Perfect!

As for Rurouni Kenshin, I personally perfer the Manga over the Anime, because the Anime didn't adapt the Junchuu ("Revenge") arc, which was the last arc.
