After a series of...adventures...that I may disclose...I am slowly trying to get back into what passes for normal for me.

I have resumed my exercise regime.

I consumed a most proper supper.

Now, it is time to unwind with smooth jazz before I shower.

Check these tunes out by Phillip "Doc" Martin.

I love this one in particular.

In a recent issue of Avengers, Tony Stark met an Iron Man from the future, the year 3030 to be exact.

Pretty snazzy armor.

The alter ego of this Iron Man is Rhodey Stark. Rhodey is the nickname for Stark's best friend, James Rhodes. Don Cheadle played Rhodey in the last two Iron Man films.

The name makes sense. Rhodey Stark came to warn Granpa of an impending threat to Earth, and like a Stark would do so with style on Christmas.

Then....the helmet came off....

Provided this Iron Man is a genetic heir to Stark, somebody (be it Tony or his seed) will go to chocolate factory. Also, given the year Rhodey hails from, either she is his descendant down the line, or the average life span of humans increases significantly (if she is his actual granddaughter).

FYI, I posted the last two panels out of sequence for dramatic purposes.

The Rock is entering the DC movie universe.

He is rumored to play Green Lantern, John Stewart.

A week ago, it was rumored that Denzel was in talks of playing Green Lantern.

If you go to just about any comic book message board, the Hal Jordan fans are in full emo-rage.

Well, I just completed my first week of exercising this year.

I feel great. I was feeling stressed out earlier.

I look great. Hey, it's me we are talking about.

As I warm my leftovers, I'll play a few songs I melted calories to.

Brian McKnight with a favorite song of mine.

The Whispers were no joke.

Here is Allure w/ Nas. I love girl bands from the 1990's.

TIR,

DC comics recently rebooted their characters. They do so many reboots that past history becomes very confusing. In the current continuity, WW is the illegitimate daughter of Zeus (fictions most infamous baby daddy) & the amazon queen Hippolyta.

In the original continuity, WW was molded from clay, and given life power by the Greek gods. However, Hippolyta wanted more than one child. She gathered two molds of clay. The two clay forms were given life at the same time. One was ebony and the other ivory. Like most stories in fiction, they were separated at birth (Nubia was kidnapped at birth), only to be reunited as adults.

Here is the link for Nubia's wiki page. It would be cool if a solo WW was made. In various stories black amazons exist, but Nubia would be a strong supporting character in a live action feature. She has all the same powers as WW.

Cool. Thanks for the info.

And I do enjoy this thread very much when I come this way. :D

I love spreading my nerditis.

I'm not sure how they would introduce Nubia into the current continuity. Perhaps they will make her simply a stalwart ally instead of family. Unless, Zeus got his creep with a black amazon as well (not that I would put that past him).

Yeah, some other fans were highly upset at the revelation while plenty of the black fans all had a laugh over it.
