Stories featuring Thanos may not be feasible kids under 13. Sure, I am sure kids have watched whole worlds being obliterated or destroyed watching Dragon Ball Z. The concept of a cosmic space god in love with Death may be a bit too much for a beginning comic book reader. Let me know what characters you may be interested, and I can throw some suggestions. Most comic storylines are collected in trade paperbacks. You can go to any comic shop, book store, or order online ie Amazon. I am pulling away from buying monthly comics (I am running out of space). I am waiting for trades now. With the popularity of comic movies, the publishers are collecting classic storylines in trades. You get one big storyline in on big book. Many of these films heavily borrow concepts from the classic stories. This is especially true for the most recent Batman trilogy. |

I see. Maybe my hubby would like them. I will check Amazon later, to see what I can find. Should I just look for Thanos? However, I do like those graphic you put up, explain the connection with Thanos. |

Marvel has put out a lot of paperbacks featuring Thanos. It seems he will be the central villian in the next wave of Marvel films. I just got a paperback featuring his clashes with the Avengers from the 1970s. I need to sit down, and read it. Yeah, just go to Amazon, and type up Thanos. I recently found out the actor who portrayed Thanos at the end of the Avengers film is a black man under that CGI & make-up. Coolness. |

Cher, eh? This may be a TMI, or a Keep it in the Closet moment, but when I was a kid, I used to recurring dreams (not the wet ones) of being her lover. I would also have the same type of dreams about Sade. |
