Thanks, Redd. Black Dwarf is a member of the Black Order, a group of super-powered disciples of the cosmic villian, Thanos. If anyone saw the very end of the Avengers film, Thanos is the scary, purple guy. Black Dwarf has Hulk level size & strength. Thankfully, the Black Panther is powered by the Panther Goddess, Bast. Bast is also the Egyptian goddess worshipped in ancient Egypt. The battles I depicted are taking place in the current Avengers' mega storyline called "Infinity". Here is the wiki link for Infinity. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinity_(comic_book) Here is the profile of Thanos. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thanos#Infinity |

I vaguely remember this character. Got some catching up to do! Is this coming to theaters? Infinity, that is. If so, when is it to be released? |

Infinity is just a comic book storyline still in progress. It may be a long time before that story hits the big screen. It may be minute before the special effects catch up to do this story justice. |

Thanos is easily in the top 5 of the most dangerous Marvel comics villians. He has proven strong enough to fight both Thor & the Hulk at the same time, and hold his own. He is more than just brute force. He is one of the most intelligent beings in the comics' universe. Perhaps his most dangerous trait is his obsession with Death. At some point, the concept of Death took the form of a woman, and gave Thanos the "good stuff". Thanos got sprung. Then, Death kicked Thanos to the curb. In order to win Death's favor again, Thanos, using his mind, body, and intergalactic army of cutthroats to spread death across the universe. He hopes that with committing mass murder on the galactic scale will incur Death's love again. Crazy concept, no? When Thanos shows up in a story....fans pretty much collectively say...oh snap! |

I want to start reading this collection, where should I start? I might consider giving this to my grands for Xmas. Is this 'safe' for them to read? A good beginners comic? **I started with Archie** If not them, maybe my hubby. He's gotten away from his collection, and maybe I could get all of them interested again.. |
