Here is a classic from Shalamar. For the lover in you is an unquestioned classic. Here is a rather unique homage cover of that classic by Babyface with very special guests. I love both these songs. Both shall receive my Sacred Seal Of Approval. |

I have been slowly indoctrinating my beloved, Felicia, in all things Doctor Who. The Doctor is a centuries old alien. He is the last of his kind, the Time Lords. When faced with maladies such as old age in the first case, or fatal injury, the Doctor's body goes through a process called regeneration. If the regeneration is successful, the Doctor will have a brand new physical form, totally different than before, plus slightly different personality traits, and taste (thus allowing each actor to put their unique spin when playing the character). Here are two videos showing all the known regenerations of the Time Lord. The first is a rather corny music. Here is a 10 minute video of actual known regenerations. Each Doctor is known by the number of his regeneration. |

Now, if anyone was paying attention, they would have noticed a gap between the 8th Doctor, and the 9th Doctor. No regeneration was shown between them. Well, at the conclusion of the latest series of Doctor Who, we learned why. Let me explain the behind the scenes reason. The 8th Doctor was supposed to launched a new series on Fox following his debut in a made for TV movie circa 1996 (aww, Kid Guru was a baby back then). Well, at least they tried. The 9th Doctor appeared in a new series by BBC in 2005. It was explained, in storyline, that a terrible war, called the Time War, wiped out the Time Lords, and their enemies, Daleks (just think of them as space Nazis). The Doctor was in the thick of it. In fact, he ended the war, at terrible cost. It was always assumed that the 8th Doctor fought & ended the Time War, then regenerated into the 9th Doctor just in time for the new series. Well, we all thought wrong. |

The season ending cliff-hanger revealed that a version of the Time Lord, not the 8th Doctor, fought & ended the Time War, at terrible cost. This Doctor is not known as "the Doctor". Apparently, we have a closet regeneration here. Many oline fans simply call this one the Hurt Doctor. Oh yeah, the Doctor's current companion is such a hottie. What a damn cliffhanger!!!! November is so far away. |

Nothing quite are heartwrenching...or awkward...than saying goodbye to your wife...especially when you are the only one in the room who can see her. |

I am pretty sure I posted this before, but not all the Doctor's run-ins with himself are so filled with dread. Here is a meeting between the 2nd Doctor & the 3rd Doctor. How do you not get along with yourself? Here are the 2nd & 3rd Doctors getting owned by the 1st Doctor. A Dandy & a Clown, indeed. Edited by Doctor Magnus Warlock, Jul 30 2013, 10:34 PM.

The 4th Doctor is my all-time favorite incarnation of the Time Lord. This scene is just hours after he regenerated from the 3rd. Time Lords have two hearts. The 4th Doctor was....well....alien. Due to the nature of regenerations (and the nature of dying), the Doctor's personality is always rather erractic. But the 4th Doctor never really seemed to calm down. Oh, and Sarah Jane a cute little hottie as well. None of the them compared to the chocolate Martha Jones, but they tried. |
