The people in those pictures look so happy, so how do people go from being happy together to not wanting to be with each other anymore?
For lots of reasons.

And a smile doesn't always mean happiness.
I suspect selfishness is a big reason folks get divorced.
I don't know any divorced couples closely, but the complaints I hear from married friends often have to do with "not getting their needs met" in some way or other, without taking any responsibility for the reason there is no support, or affection, or whatever it is that they feel they're missing.

Love is a chemical reaction. When you're in love you can't help but smile around the person that chemical reaction is attached to.

However, love can be temporary. And when it starts to dissolve then the same things that you looked past in your spouse start to become larger and larger problems. And then you find yourself getting your nuts stomped on by an irate woman after she caught you in bed with someone else.

No, it's love. A lot of people confuse the chemical reaction of love for lasting forever but just like any chemical mixture it can last until you die...or it can last for 5 minutes. It's only after love fades that it's then reclassifed as being "like" all along. But it wasn't. It was always love.

negroplease

I would prefer infatuation.

It could have been love for some, it could have been like for some, it could have just been infatuation.

I think if it were love, then how come this same love doesnt fade for your parents or the love of your children, relative, friends?

Why does only "romantic" love fade away?

Just asking?
