Getting back to the reason blacks dont support other blacks in business is because they are all too far from each other. Here in long beach you will have a hard time finding a black business let alone any together. unfortunatly to many of them are barbershops and beauty salons. Very rare to find anything else.
I love black folk but I am not going to drive 260 miles just to go shop for goods. The black businesses need to be close together like little ethiopia or something. Barber shops, salons, grocery, clothes, cake shop, coffehouse, artifacts, music, community center and church etc. Believe it or not all these things are on one block in little ethiopia LA. Here in long beach 100k blacks and few businesses
In most major cities they have a China Town and the Chinese people own everything in that part of town. Today black people in America have all kind of education and college degrees, so what's stopping black people from building our own Black Town? What?
Black town?

What? Black town? Why would we need a Black Town?

During Black Wall street the dollar turned over 36 to 100 time in the black community before it left the community, today the dollar only turns over once before it leaves the black community. That's amazing

That's amazing It's not that amazing. They had no choice but to patronize each other when they largely weren't allowed in white stores. Have you people ever picked up a history book?

That's not true black people were allowed to shop in white stores, black people during the days of Black Wall Street had a totally different mindset than black people today.

That's not true black people were allowed to shop in white stores, black people during the days of Black Wall Street had a totally different mindset than black people today. Thank you sir. The other people saw what was happening by the dollars staying in the black community and they started a race riot because the black dollar was not helping their business. It is even said that every times blacks tried to rebuilt, they were threaten or killed, so it will lead you to believe that they had options other than black wall street.

Honestly, I'm with Kenny on this shit.
What is anyone on this thread doing to start a black wall street? I hear complaining and bitching but hear about no action. Typi al blacks who bitch and complain about what they want to see but aren't contributing. Your hands are out begging......
Do for yourself, once you do that. You pass that knowledge to someone else and hopefully they do the same. A bunch of grown men here bitching but none of you are doing shit for blacks. Its sad.......
