In 1996 I was a buisness manager for a org that sent me to tulsa,ok for training for PTI automation.I visit that area of tulsa which was about 10 or 15 min from down town.I could really feel the lost there. The folks their were really now to earth. I notice that during the day it was like a ghost town but as I was leaving and heading back to downtown tulsa just before dark you wouldn't believe the traffic leaving downtown heading there. I was told by a few of the folks there that after the riots alot of blacks buisness gave up cause every time a buisness got reopen or started whites would burn it down and hang the owner and or family member.
K7, you see the problem, whites do not want us to be independent because it hurt their bottom line. We were not good enough to come through the front door, but they wanted our dollars. This situation still haunts us today where whites ruin black own business that compete with them.

I had a business for 10 years and I saw no whites burning down my store. Did I experience racism. YES!!

I could not secure a line of credit for my business with a bank. I tried all local banks.. So I worked a second job and used the money from that job to pay my employees until my compny was able to pay the employees on its own or secure a line of credit.

I did get a line of credit. Well no not really. I got short term loans inly tomeet my employees payroll. I had to fend for myself. This lasted about one year. I then showed the bank I cold pay off short term loans then I got a larger loan albeit not enough to do long term plans. But as soon as I was late on a few pYMENTS THEY CALLED MY LOAN. Now that is their perogative. Essentially i said if you want my business just o on and take it. I 'm not playing games here. Otherwise stop bothering me and ill pay you back on time. They were paid back early.

I then went on my own and hd a fairly successful business that i sold. I will do better next time. The point. This is it. If I were a caucasinI would have been given benefit of the doubt and would have had funds released to me. But no they could not trust a black man with a loan.

Did i cry about it? No. Did i shout racism? No. Did i quit and give up? No.

I put my nose to the grindstone and paid them sorry guys off and did ok.

Racism exists, but what are you doing to overcome it? Are you just a complainer or are you an overcomer. Racism will always be here. It aint going away til' Shiloh (praise YAH). So do we simply mkae excuses and pandeer to the poor and downpressed in order to make them feel good that they are not succeeding because of racism? Or do we say racsim is was and will always be- but you beytter acieve in spite of it.

Black wallstreet and many other thriving black communities succeeded in the most violent racist times ever. They knew what hard work and perseverance was.

Today- all what we know is blaming the white man as we sit and play video games after drp out of school and get out of prison ( general statement many of us are waking up and leaving the democrat republican plantation)

peace.

Well really can I ask a question are black people really complaining, mad, or even making accusation of racism. When I look around the negro community we seem to be more in love with white people and their world than any other time.

Finish the story, how did their business end? The had great businesses but something happened and it has been the same story throughout history. Look at black wall street and rosewood and tell me how both ended.

Actually it's a lot more complicated than just Republican and Democrat. The truth his NEITHER party can help us. We have to help ourselves. That's the bottom line. We need the Party of US. And neither the Democrats or the Republicans are The Party of US. And until we can unite behind THAT banner, well, we'll continue to be divided by White racist pretending to be black, clones, straight haired Latinas and White women, and each other.

But are blacks going to help themselves if they're thinking that the Democrats are going to help them?

Because unlike today those blacks wasn't looking for the Government to create jobs for them.

Your question is somewhat...retarded to put it bluntly. If a Black person thinks the Democrats are going to help them then they are more likely to not help themselves. But if a Black person votes Democrat and doesn't care nor ask for help then they are more likely to help themselves. You're linking your questions specfiically with political parties using the stereotype that Black Republicans never ask for hand outs and all Black Democrats do. That logic is, well, not really logic at all but idiocy that you and the rest of the Clones along with a smattering of other people on this site use. Ineffectively I might add. Especially when presented to those of us who know what the hell is going on.

I understand what I typed is completely lost on you. Hopefully you didn't strain anything trying to understand it...and failing miserably at it.

What you need, is a healthy dose of state mandated SEGREGATION, and then things will improve, because face facts, there will always be Negroes that thinks the white man water is colder than a black man's.

Man cannot serve two masters, he will always love one, and hate the other.

Same applies to integration VS segregation, take your choice.
