Interesting, I just posted a video about this. Anyone ever hear of the compromise of 1877? This is what caused the destruction of Black Wall Street. Here is a video: |

Clearly you know nothing about the Compromise of 1877. It was a document (a Speech made March 1st, 1877) that is still in the Library of Congress today that was used to destroy Black Wall Street. Black Walstreet wasn't just during the 1900's in Tulsa Oklahoma either. After the so called emancipation "blacks" were thriving during reconstruction here in America from 1865-1877. The relationship that "blacks" have had with both political parties (Democrat and Republican) they have always been betrayed. Damn! Read before you try to discredit me. Watch and listen to the video I posted also. Lastly, I find it very funny that you have a sexual deviant like Herman Cain in your avatar. LMAO! An old ass freak who was sexually harassing white women! That sellout country Negro is done! Edited by asiaticman7, Nov 22 2011, 04:49 PM.

I guess the question now is how do we get that black wallstreet mentality back in the black community....at least among black men. I was watching Black In America Silicon Valley and the black entrapreneurs were asking, where is our Mark Zuckerburg?...here is the problem. 1) He exist but the black community is busy not supporting him. 2) He on the other hand is to busy trying to market himself as a black Mark Z....than marketing his brand. People tend to forget that Facebook was waaaaay popular BEFORE Mark Z took it public and people saw his face for the first time. This is the model blacks should follow. Forget this I'm a black this or that...just focus on building your brand and whe it becomes popular and strong, your race won't matter. |

Government handouts didn't create Black Wall Street, black people working hard and doing for self is what created Black Wall Street. Black people were Republicans in the 1920's when Black Wall Street was built, so black people in those days had a totally different mindset than black people today.

Government creates everything. It is up to us to manipulate the government for our own needs. The sooner you realize this the sooner you'll stop making 99 screen names to speak nonsense with. Edited by n.W.o., Nov 23 2011, 02:44 PM.

GTFOH! Don't try to use some political affiliation as a reason to say they were thriving back then! They were progressive for the simple fact that their mentality and spirit was different back then from what it is today! There was a collectivist mentality as well! Politics were bullshit back then and they are bullshit today. So take your Herman Cain dick sucking ass out of here! |
