Rich guys has now come out with a way to spot golddiggers, in the new Ebony Magazine this rich guy said that he pretends to be broke in order to see if a woman really likes him for who he is. He said that he drives a broken down car when he first start dating a woman, just to see where her head is at.

Check out this article

Dr. Phil did a show on gold diggers check this out.

Why do the media find the worst possible black women they can find and stick them on television. If Basketball wives are not bad enough for black women image now this.

Who says he has to be lying?

Did you miss this part of the original post?

Not smarter than a 5th grader are ya?
Read it again. You took it out of context. When I used the word 'he', I was referring an ANY man, not the one mentioned in the article. Sorry if it came across the wrong way. Sometimes that happens on message boards.

Who says he (meaning 'any' man) has to be lying? Why not begin a relationship where money isn't the driving force?

I have a Graduate Degree in Math, for whatever it's worth. No need for the juvenile comment.

I thought this was supposed to be about the article. Even if I take what you say at face value(and I think you simply got busted with an incorrect statement and you're covering tracks), You still don't start a relationship based on a lie. If I dated a woman who started asking me about my finances, I'd tell her. There wouldn't be a second date , but I'd definitely tell her

Damn Right

That black woman said that she got a gold digging kit that she carries with her, she got a device to check to see if diamonds are real and she got something to test the money to make sure that it's real.

I think the man was very smart to do this.
Starting a potential relationship with lies is smart?
Since when is lying or omitting facts or details not the norm with most people? Many relationships and marriages are started with some deception on some level. Whether it's smart or stupid to lie, depends on the issue. The example that DJ Crunk provided, that rich cat lying about his wealth/status ended up turning out positive for him. Unless one is faced with the same thing, they might not be able to relate to that persons dilemma, and the need to choose deception as a form of protection. Bottom line........everything depends on what the deception is about, and the pain it may cause.
Spoken like a jaded brother.

It's propaganda.

They're being paid to say it.

It isn't real.
