Lyndon Johnson cheated on his wife and got an outside woman pregnant, also according to his biographer he was very verbally abusive to his wife in public. He would talk to her anykind of way in front of other people.

The Democrats kept this quiet I didn't know about that.

Nobody airs out there dirty laundry. Generally you don't hear the Republicans parading around the fact McCain left his wife for a younger one with ties to politics, Newt is married to his third wife which he cheated on his second wife with, Rush Limbaugh is married to his third wife, and Glenn Beck left his first wife because she birthed a kid with autism. But unlike current Democrats who are just quiet about it but typically (politicians are of a different breed sometimes) own up to it and tell you it was a bad thing they did, Republicans are not only quiet about it but they try to hide it and when you call them on it they say their infidelity means nothing in the eyes of the Lord, drop out of campaigns, or both.
