No Cornel West just like Al Sharpton, Ben Jealous, Jesse Jackson, Cong Black Caucus sold their souls just to put an unknown man in office because of his skin color (Isnt that what racist europeans do, vote based on skin color?).
Now the chickens have come home to roost. Unemployment for the nation goes down and black unemploymment goes up (which is twice what european unemployment is). Promises are made directly to gays and lesbians and indians. Obama has secret meetings with blacks which have not shown anything.
Obama ignores black farmers for many months but black pressure forced him to act.
Obama cuts funding to black colleges (bush gave more under his administration).
Very few of so called black leadership is truly for blacks. They are all out for themselves. How could you get a people who are overwhelmingly against sodomy and pro life to vote for the most sodomite friendly and abortion loving president this country has ever seen.
The problem is that many blacks view Obama as the Messiah and will follow straight into the pit of Hell just because he has brown skin.
peace. How long has it been since you picked up a paper or watched the news on TV? And you even call youself a Christian with those lopsided views right?

Obama could say publicly he hates black people and we blacks would still vote for him at 98 percent. How? Because we would say Awww man he does not really mean it. Hes just saying that for the white people.
like i said straight into the pit of hell
peace.
You are right, when Obama denounced his black pastor and left his black church I thought that was going to be a wake up call for black people, but black people gave him as pass on that just because they wanted to see a black president. It's not good that you want something so bad that you will do anything to get it. I have an idea, why don't you all and CW take his job and see how much you get accomplished FOR blacks ONLY. Fighting 24-7 with all of those racist congresspersons and the Sarah Palins,Glen Becks,Rush Limpballs' out there. Since he's not doing anything right and you all obviously have the RIGHT answers go to it.

Memdear70 lets be honest if John McCain were the president would black people be any worse off? I can't answer that because he's not the President. But my first inclination would be yes.

I can't answer that because he's not the President. But my first inclination would be yes. You are a big Obama supporter, so name some things that Obama have done to make things better for black people.
Let's try it that way
