I'm not sure what you're asking but, I'll try to answer. IMO, anyone has a right to express their love however they choose. I have friends who are gay and I love them to death but I don't like what they are doing to themselves. One long time friend died of aids a couple of years ago then his friend died about 6 months later. I have a straight friend who died of AIDS, what does that have to do with the price of tea in China? I also know a gay couple that's been together 25 years last year and have raised two normal healthy straight children. Gays who die of aids engage in risky sex, the same as heteros who engage in risky sex. So why the hate for gay black men?

I was just surprised that it appears to be more black men that I thought, and what I said is MPOV. Wondering what is happening to the "family".

It's strictly your tone. Can you deny you exhibit a negative opinion about gay black men? If so, as a man I'll stand corrected in what I'm reading. The gay population in general is still a small minority, so I don't get what the big deal is about a small percentage of black men who are gay

Maybe they are tired of women.
Dude, you're gay! Stop fighting it. No straight man, no matter what, would ever, EVER make that statement! EVER! Your gaydar will start picking up signals pretty soon, give it some time. Nothing wrong with being gay, nada!
Everyone reaches a point in life where they are tired of being tired. You read my story and if I am not good enough to say Hi or share a bus seat with, then why should I ever speak to another black women again. What you would do if everything you said Hi to a certain group, they turned their noses up at you or act like you were not there. Put yourself in that place and then speak. Over 20 years would you grow to start to dislike that group. Most people are smart enough to know that not every single person in that group is that way.
If that is the case, I should be leery of every black man, as he will be abusive, rob and kill me.

I did say that I have gay friends and that I love them, they are older and I guess I just assumed the younger generation had decided to go the opposite direction. I know I can be hateful at times but I was not aware that I appeared this way with this topic.When/if I comment on either gender who has chosen this life style I am usually questioning something said or a picture that I don't interpret as others do. That's the reason I didn't bother to share the site that I saw. And maybe I had become tired of the "men" on this board always slamming the females who have chosen this lifestyle. Maybe I over-reacted to the stuff I saw on those videos, but on the flip side there seems to be a lot of different social establishments that cater to this population nowadays. So I asked for other opinions.

I didn't know the gay lifestyle had anything to do with age

Maybe I over-reacted to the stuff I saw on those videos, but on the flip side there seems to be a lot of different social establishments that cater to this population nowadays. So I asked for other opinions. Given the tone of this forum, your title and title description sounded "Why are black men turning to homosexuality?; What has happened to the black man?", like you were likely shocked and disappointed that there were black males who were gay. Your actual post made it seem like these black gay men were somehow more disgusting than the supposed black gay women in the threads we have here. You also make it sound like "real love" is something only a man and a woman can have. "Hate" may be a strong word, but judging by your first post you certainly didn't seem to approve of what you saw, and possibly believe that gay aren't capable of loving one another.
To answer a previous post you made, I really don't think that vast, vast majority of gays choose to be so, whether from experimentation or otherwise. Why would anyone choose to be treated like less of a person both in a social and legal sense? Moreover, why would someone decide that they never want to have sex with someone of the opposite sex again?
The ones I've talked to always knew they were different, even if they didn't know they were gay. I think it's more likely that, especially now, the option to experiment is there and there's less issue with relationships outside of heterosexuality. So people experiment. Some of those people decide they like being with people of both sexes to some degree. Bisexuality is probably more common than homosexuality, but it's talked about far less. There's other reasons someone would experiment, such as abuse, low self esteem or living situations, but I really don't think those are leading causes.
Also, while I think I understand what people mean by the "gay lifestyle", it doesn't exist any more than the "black lifestyle" does. They go to work, eat dinner, hang out with friends and do whatever else other people do. Most things gays are doing aren't inherently gay.

This is exactly what I was trying to explain to LastMan on here.
The part about it being a choice. They can make the choice to act upon those feelings or not, but choosing to have the actual feelings. I do not see that as a choice.
And then as a retort I asked him when he chose to ignore the homosexual feelings he had when he chose to like women, but alas I received no answer.
Anyhoo, well said!
