I agree breast feeding is more healthier than similac. This is great advice and the women that have children should research more into this and understand the benefits of breast feeding.
Would you be ok with Laura Bush trying to tell you how to raise your children?
Laura Bush is a dumb ass just like her husband so NO!
Who in the hell is Michelle Obama to tell anybody anything, her husband is a drunk.
Shut your dumb ass up!

Mrs.Obama like evey other first lady has taken on a cause to focus on. She's doing nothing more than renforcing what doctors have been saying for a while, that breastfeeding your child is the best for your baby's health. She's not making it mandatory for anyone.

Mrs.Bush focused on illiteracy. She urged everyone to read to her kids every night. So I guess that would mean she was also telling people what to do with their kids too huh....

I'm a grown woman and I don't need Michelle Obama to tell me what to do with my body.

That bothers you that a black woman is suggesting something that Doctors have been advising women to do for eons huh? Another one of those Michele Bachmann idiots. I suppose if Sarah Palin had made the same suggestion you would be OK with it right?

Another case of definitive dumb. She is not telling you or anybody else what to do she SUGGESTED it, if you actually read the article. And I suppose the reason you are opposed to it is because she's black right?

Obviously, people will come to their own conclusions about what is right for them personally, but I am glad Michelle Obama came out and publicly supported breastfeeding. I'm sure she is aware that African American women have far lower rates than any other ethnicity with the number of women who even consider breastfeeding AND the length of time they do so.

In addition to all the physical immunological benefits, there are some spiritual and attachment/trust benefits the 'mother/baby duo' gain as well.

I got 12 children and my wife Lucy Mae breastfeed every last one of them, and they turned out fine.
