Couple of things

1. Some of the men on your list are alive and kicking and are on TV today so what do you mean by how black men USED to be viewed??

2. Some of the men you listed have either cheated on their wife and/or had child(ren) out of weddlock, so wouldn't that mean that aren't so great in your eyes?
I'm focusing on black men in the media, black men that's on television. The black men in these pictures they never got on television and did anything to make our race look bad.

The black men in these pictures carry themselves totally different than the young black men that's on television today, a lot of the young black men that's television today are acting wild and crazy, and some are acting like out right clowns.

Tayter80 I didn't research any of these men personel lives, because that's not the focus us this post.
So why isn't Erykah Badu on you black woman list?? She carries herself in a positive manner. What about Antonio Cormartie, does he not carry himself in a respectful manner in public? Why isn't he on this list?

Erykah Badu got BUTT NAKED in one of her music videos, and the whole world saw that
and to make matters worse she did that in front of kids. That's why Erykah Badu didn't make the list of positive black women that makes us proud.
Will Smith played a gay character and had a gay sex scene, which you yourself have condemed on this forum, yet he made your list.

Blair Underwood has had some racy sex scenes during his career and he's on this list too.

But Erykah Badu can't be on your list because of one video?? Again the question is how can you look down on one and yet uplift another??

Damn Right

It's hard to believe that some black women are trying to throw salt on these brothers, but leave it up to a black woman to try and find fault in these good brothers.

You all talk about lil Wayne, Diddy, and TI's personal lives all the time, so what's the difference??

So if a person fakes the funk in public, it doesn't matter what he/she does behind closed doors?? Is that the criteria that nevergiveup is going by?

Lil Wayne is covered in tattoos and his music is negative, Puff Daddy music is negative,
and T.I. music is negative and it's a bad influence on on kids not to mentions that he's always in the news going to prison, that's why I speak against those kind of so called black men.

It wasn't white people that came in here and started speaking against these black men, it was black women that did it.

So like I said as long as a person acts a certain way, it's doesn't matter what they do in their personal life. But if a person is so-called "negative" in public, then his/her personal life is fair game, is that what you are trying to say?

Once again tell me where I said anything negative about any man in this thread!!
