None of the black men in these pictures ever got on television and made us look bad.
Nope, they just did it behind closed doors, and then got arrested, and then the whole world found out, and they still made us look bad.

At least they didn't get on television and act a fool like Rihanna and Beyonce for the whole world to see.
What people do in their home is their business, but when you act a fool on television the whole world sees it.

Since you're so concerned with looks,

Then why don't you clean up your act?

Did Beyonce do drugs?

I really cant see how you think its ok to do drugs, but you are mad because Beyonce dances provocatively on TV.

There is no comparison.

Again you moron , the whole world knows he did drugs, so what is the difference?

When black girls see Beyonce on television grinding, is that a path that little black girls should follow? Is grinding for the world the new standard for black women when it comes to black music?

When black boys read that Gil did drugs, but still got praised for it and got it excused , wont they think "Oh I can do drugs too and no one will care because I did it in the privacy of my home and I didnt get on TV and do it, even though I did get arrested."

Again, there is no comparison.

Stop the nonsense.

Shutupalready Obama used drugs when he was growing up, but he's not going to be remembered for that. Gil Scott is going to be remembered for his great poetry.

Obama smoked marijuana , but this man was an addict whose use crippled his life. He will be remembered for his poetry, his drug use , his addiction and his arrests.

The world will remember him for all of that. Not just one thing.

Still no comparison, I can't believe you are ok with being a drug addict.

Marcus,

You can come inhere with all your aliases and try to refute my point.

But most people who know who he was will remember him for both.

And you cannot down some, and praise others, when both equally have their own faults.

Drug abuse and arrests again dont compare to dancing provocatively on TV.

At the end of the day, neither of these people are role models.
