Sam Wilson are you black, I'm just curious based on what you just said about Dr. King. No pictures or anything has ever been presented that Dr. King did anything wrong, I would never take the U.S. Government word on Dr. King.
I am a black man. Why is that important?
I always thought Sam was short for Samantha or something......
I assure Azucar, I am a 100% chocolate coated man. But more impartantly, Azucar, you of all people making such unfounded assumptions about someone... :'( :'( :'(

Are you familiar with COINTELPRO? J. Edgar Hoover illegally tapped phones, planted bugs in peoples' rooms, planted moles in various groups of he felt was Un-American. Did you know moles were placed in the Nation of Islam to monitor the group's activities? If you ever viewed pictures of the aftermath of Malcolm X's assasignation, one of the black men seen trying to give Malcolm mouth-to-mouth was a mole. By illegally wire tapping phones & placing listening devices inside rooms, Hoover discovered that MLK was an adulterer. Hoover did the same thing to the Kennedys. The sad thing about the black moles was that many were never officially declared as being part of the various law enforcement agencies they were working for due to the color of their skin. Yet, they were welcolmed into the black organizations they were secretly monitoring, or in some cases trying to destroy from the inside.
Sam do you trust the U.S. Government, the U.S. Government said that they had proof that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. America invaded Iraq and 1000's of innocent people was killed, and the proof that they claimed to have was nothing but a pack of lies. If the Government would lie about that you know they would make up lies on Dr. King, they have never produced any tapes or eveidence proving that Dr. King did wrong.
Ok, you did not answer my question about COINTELPRO. Moe, do you have anything to say about COINTELPRO? Does the term COINTELPRO even register on your radar? Why don't you look it up, and get back to me. I just figuered a guy with a picture icon like yours would know what I was talking about. You even defected my statements by comparing it to the Bush II administrations justification for invading Iraq. You question my blackness, yet you are clueless about a program tasked with illegally monitoring, sabotaging, and even assassinating the very leaders and organizations you idolize.

Are you kidding me? Perhaps you are not real. Perhaps you too are another alter ego of Marcus. You probably don't even know the meaning of why a member of the Nation of Islam would drop his government for the "X".

Sam COINTELPRO also said that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, was that the truth? The U.S. Government claimed that they had people on the inside in Iraq that knew that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, in the end was that true?

Has the U.S. Government ever produced any evidence that Dr. King did anything wrong, the U.S. Government is known for putting a lie out in the media, in order to influence people thinking in a negative way.

I don't believe anything until I see the proof, I don't believe anything until I see or hear the tape for myself. I darn sure aint going to take the U.S. Government word on anything.

How quickly people forget....

Iraq was responsible for the largest chemical weapons attack directed against a civilian-populated area in the history of mankind! And they did it more than once. They do not like their minority groups there.

Those recordings will not be available until 2027.

My original point still stands: MLK, Malcolm, Medger Evers, and our other fallen warriors paved the way for us to have the opportunity to forge our own destinies. I think we honor them best by living taking advantage of those opportunities, and living our lives as decent human beings. They did not want to be idolized as flawless individuals. I also believe they would not approve of the many people on this board who manipulate their philosophies for to suite their petty agendas. One the things that made Malcolm so great was that he was once a dispicable person who evolved into a great man. Yet you have these self righteous guys here who condemn entertainers, and club hoppers. If you guys lived in the past, none of you would have tried to help Malcolm X when he was running the streets. Like any hero, these guys wanted to be a source of inspiration, not idolization. These guys were men (with all the flaws & faults that come with being human), and not golden calves.

Sam if those tapes come out in 2027 and they prove that Dr. King did something wrong, then I will change
my view at that time. But I'm not one of these black people that trust the U.S. Government at all, I got to have the proof before criticize somebody.
