^^ This is a fair observation and recommendation. But, the problem is not only in asking for and welcoming 'help'... but mostly in not getting PROPER 'help'. Plenty of talking-heads are more than willing to run their mouths, but few are QUALIFIED to actually 'help' a BM get sufficiently 'over' emotional/self-esteem trauma, stemming from intimate relationships. |

Sounds like you neglected to show her how to manage certain things, such as credit and paying bills on time. Those don't seem like monumental failures. |

Are BW worth the 'trouble'? Yes, many ARE worth going thru some difficulty to develop a beneficial and lasting bond and grow a family with. OTOH, there are many who are not. I guess you gotta know "when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em". |
